The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will be stunned to learn that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) has been putting on a front. He’ll discover that the queen of mean reconciled with him only in order to protect herself and Bella (Cali May Kinder). Blinded by his love for this woman, Kevin’s belief in Chloe will draw him back into his ex-wife’s dysfunctional and dangerous life.
As Y&R fans recall, Chloe took Billy’s (then played by Billy Miller) DNA sample and had herself artificially inseminated. Her grief over the loss of Delia (Sophie Pollono) at that time was so intense that she wanted to create a child to fill the void in her soul.
Billy (now played by Jason Thompson) still has no idea that Bella is likely his child. Since viewers haven’t been shown any confirming evidence, it remains possible that someone other than Billy, possibly including Kevin, is her second daughter’s dad.
Victor (Eric Braeden) has taken advantage of many people’s precarious positions through the years. Devoted Young and the Restless fans recall how he paid for poor Patty (Stacy Haiduk) to have plastic surgery so she could seek vengeance against their mutual foe Jack (Peter Bergman). They also recall how The Moustache took advantage of Kelly’s (Cady McClain) poor mental state when he set her up on Y&R’s version of Fantasy Island with Jack, of course.
More recently, Victor took advantage of the ongoing contact he was maintaining with Chloe and used it viciously against Adam Newman (formerly played by Justin Hartley). The Young and the Restless writers invented a scenario whereby the Black Knight had been paying to have Bella taken care of while Chloe was receiving mental health treatment in California.
After she appeared to have recovered, Victor tapped into Chloe’s rage and had her help to frame Adam for the concocted murder of Constance Bingham (Sally Kellerman).
Chloe’s turn against Victor should have been anticipated, considering her unbalanced history. But, it wasn’t. Not only did she initially withhold evidence that would have freed Adam from prison as Victor planned, but Chloe also located the man she still holds responsible for Delia’s death at the infamous cabin in the woods.
It remains a mystery as to whether Chloe merely shot Adam with a dart gun and left him to die, or took further actions. With whatever happened beyond the plot points that were shown, Kevin’s upcoming discoveries will blow his mind.
While this sincere soul’s reunion with Chloe will then be spoiled, the question of whether he’ll remain loyal to his soul mate will linger for awhile. Given Kevin’s proclivity for investigation and discovering hidden secrets we can expect Chloe’s self-serving relationship to backfire.
