The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Nick Sobs Over Sage’s Dead Body - Sharon Faces Questions, Lying Already

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday’s episode, April 29, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will be outraged over Billy’s (Jason Thompson) actions. They had just sorted the Passkey mess out and now he’s swiping something else from the Newmans. Jack will tell Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) that this is just about payback.

Billy wants revenge for what Victoria (Amelia Heinle) did to him.

Phyllis will think Billy has just as much of a reason to get revenge on Jack. Meanwhile, Billy will argue with Victoria about his purchase. He’ll imply that this is no different than what happened with Passkey. Business is business.

Victoria will head to a local bar and order some wine. A bartender named Travis (Michael Roark) will help Victoria find the song she wants on the jukebox. As Victoria starts to cry, Travis will say he thought she liked that song. Poor Victoria is stuck in a funk.

Later, Phyllis will meet up with Billy at his house. She’ll warn that Victor could have planned this as a setup for Billy. He won’t be concerned. Victor would have had a hard time predicting that Billy would be able to secure the cash.

Regardless, Billy will think it worked out well for him. Billy will move toward Phyllis and declare that he goes after what he wants in life. He’ll suggest that Phyllis does, too.

At the lab, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) will try to convince Hilary (Mishael Morgan) to suspend testing. Hilary forced them to rush everything and it nearly cost them a patient. Dr. Neville and Ashley will insist that they have to make some changes before this gets out of hand.

Hilary won’t be on board with that idea, but Ashley will offer a stern warning. Hilary’s reputation could be severely damaged if she doesn’t fix this. After some bickering, Hilary will hold a press conference. She’ll take the credit for recognizing that things were moving too fast.

Dr. Neville and Ashley will be livid when Hilary throws them under the bus.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Sharon (Sharon Case) will call an ambulance for Sage (Kelly Sullivan). While Sharon waits, Sage will regain consciousness and ask to see Christian. When Sharon brings him over, Sage will demand that Sharon tell Nick (Joshua Morrow) the truth.

Sharon will make that promise.

Sage will tell Christian she loves him and she’ll die holding him close. Sharon will take the baby back and shut Sage’s eyes. Later, Paul (Doug Davidson) will get confirmation that Sage is dead from the paramedics. Dylan (Steve Burton) will grow concerned about Nick. This is going to be a tough blow.

Sharon will lie that she just happened to see the accident as she drove up. Paul will find Sage’s phone and determine that she was trying to make a call. He’ll see that the number isn’t Nick’s. At the hospital, Nick will get the devastating news. He’ll cry over Sage’s body and mention that she’s at peace with Christian now.

Afterwards, Nick will learn Sharon was at the scene of the accident.

At Dylan and Sharon’s place, they’ll worry about how Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will take this. Sharon will confess that she needs to tell Dylan something. He’ll brush Sharon off and hint that this is so heartbreaking for Nick. Dylan will suggest that he’d be lost without Sharon or Sully.

It looks like Sharon plans on keeping this secret for now. However, it’s not going to be easy. Nick is going to have some questions and Sharon could slip up eventually. Plus, Nurse Stephens (Jill Lover) still knows the truth. That could present a problem if someone like Dylan, Nick or Adam (Justin Hartley) goes snooping around.

Bottom line, we’ve entered a whole new phase of this Y&R storyline. There are now added layers in this secret and the stakes have been raised thanks to Sage’s death. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on where things will go from here.
