“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for tomorrow’s episode, Friday, April 29, tease that Sage (Kelly Sullivan) is DEAD!!! After learning the truth about Christian, Sage rushed off to tell Nick (Joshua Morrow) that their son was alive. Unfortunately, Sage loses her life instead.
On The Young and the Restless Friday episode, Sharon (Sharon Case) calls 911 to give them the updates on the car crash. She states that the vehicle in front of her was hit and the driver has been injured. While Sharon waits on the ambulance, Sage regains consciousness. She asks Sharon if she can see the baby.
Sharon brings Sage her son Christian and she cradles him in her arms. Sage makes Sharon promise that she’ll tell Nick that about his son. Sharon agrees and Sage tells Christian that his mommy loves him. Suddenly, Sage coughs up blood and fades away. Sharon takes the baby back and gently closes Sage’s eyes.
The ambulance arrives and Paul (Doug Davidson) isn’t far behind. It doesn’t take long for the paramedics to determine that Sage is a goner. They cover her corpse with a sheet and Paul gives Sharon the bad news. He wonders how this happened. Sharon claims that she stumbled across the wreck. She says she’s not sure what went down.
Dylan (Steve Burton) shows up with some questions of his own. Paul takes a look at Sage’s phone and tries to her figure out who the last call went to. We don’t know who Sage was calling yet, but it wasn’t Nick.
Will Sharon really keep her promise to tell Nick the truth about Christian? If Sharon is already lying and keeping secrets about what led to the crash, we don’t have high hopes. Sharon isn’t a bad person. She’s just a mom who desperately wants to keep her baby boy.
Nevertheless, “The Young and the Restless” viewers know that all juicy secrets must be revealed. Nick deserves to know the whole story and he’ll inevitably hear it eventually. The question is: when will that be? Now that we’re seeing this exciting twist, it could be a while before everything is out in the open.
Whatever happens, it appears some great drama is coming up. Y&R is known for shocking events like this. The fallout from Sage’s death is going to be huge! Stick with the CBS soap to see how it all plays out.
