“The Young and The Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease on upcoming episodes this week that Luca Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva) may soon sidestep his growing flirtation with Summer Newman (Hunter H King) in favor of a chance at romance with a more powerful Newman lady – Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Y&R fans all saw the absolutely sizzling chemistry between Luca and Victoria in the “It’s a Wonderful Life” homage where Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was imagining the terrible things that would happen to his family if he wasn’t around to protect them.
Victoria’s scenario involved a roguish Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) who’s so bad that Victoria turned to Luca looking for some loving. The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that perhaps now that Victor will soon be found guilty at his trial and sent to prison, that scene could play out.
Luca has made it clear he’s looking for inroads back into Newman Enterprises, even though he’s snagged a job at Jabot. And it was Luca that went to Victor to warn him of Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) treachery and plan to throw the case.
That has to win Luca some brownie points with Victoria who truly doesn’t want her father in jail. Marisa Sierras (Sofia Pernas) just told Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) that she thinks Luca caved and signed their divorce papers because he’s got his eye on marrying Summer so he can be a de facto Newman.
Marisa might be right about Luca’s plan of action, but wrong about the ultimate target. Summer definitely seemed like easy pickings – the dimmest and slowest wildebeest of the Newman herd… But now Victoria may become a more appealing mark for the sexy Spaniard.
Victoria is already on edge about Billy’s too-close relationship with Phyllis Abbot (Gina Tognoni) after she caught them in Billy’s GCAC room pulling on and zipping his pants. But on an upcoming new episode this week Victoria will catch them in another clinch.
After Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis have a major dust-up, Phyllis will turn to Billy Boy for comfort. Victoria will come upon them in an embrace that may be comforting (or something more). Either way, this makes Victoria snap.
Victoria will go on a public rampage against Billy at a press conference and call him a thief and liar then slap him in the face. That should be the official end of Villy (at least for now) but it opens the door to “Philly” and to “Lucoria” as new romances.
Y&R fans are already shipping Luca and Victoria – their pairing has been much discussed on social media since the Wonderful Life montage, and it’s not a bad idea. Luca and Victoria would make a perfect power couple to reign over Genoa City.
Victoria is running Newman Enterprises, but is having trouble with some of the managers. Luca could step up to be her right hand man and jerk those problem people back into line. Victoria and Luca together would not only be sexy, but unstoppable.
They might even pose a threat to Victor being able to take back his company when he gets out of prison (which we know is inevitable). What do you think Y&R fans? Would you like to see Victoria and Luca pair up? Do you think they have the chemistry to be a super-couple?
