The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers for episodes the week of Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22 reveal that business turns dirty at Newman and Brash and Sassy, plus Adam is prison pals with Victor, Chelsea is out for revenge, Hilary is dying, and Phyllis is caught.
Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) struggles with failing health and the only man who can help her, Simon Neville (Michael Knight), is barred from treating her. As Hilary’s health flags, though, her love for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) seems to grow stronger.
Also at the hospital is Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as the week kicks off and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Egan) stops by to threaten him with a scalpel after Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) is sentenced to 30 years in a plea deal.
Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) almost catches Chelsea threatening Victor but she hides what she’s doing and things go unobserved. Adam is behind bars and Victor is back in jail in coming days – father and son face off in prison and it’s not pretty.
Adam tells Victor he’s made a powerful enemy in Chelsea and he shouldn’t underestimate what she will do. Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton), Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), and Natalie Soderberg (Mara McCaffray) race to find evidence to exonerate Adam and get him out of prison.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) discovers that Phyllis Newman (Gina Tognoni) never went to Canada in the Jabot jet. At first he thinks it’s a mistake then talks to the pilot and finds out that it’s a fact. Phyllis never left town. Jack talks to Ashley Newman (Eileen Davidson).
After Ashley jokes that Phyllis is having an affair, Jack starts thinking about whether there’s some truth there. Ashley tells Jack to keep his suspicions a secret. It almost seems like Phyllis wants to be caught because that’s sloppy to leave a trail that could easily be followed.
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) takes Brash and Sassy away from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in a misguided scheme to reunite Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy. Jill hands it over to Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) to run.
Cane gets a bit carried away with his new power and he and Billy end up in a major confrontation. Also, this week, The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) won’t help Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) with her secrets anymore.
Nikki Newman (Melody Scott) goes to Paul for a major favor and the two have a frank and open discussion. Victor is ready to launch his plan to get out of jail and Judge Gates (David Wright), father of Meredith Gates (Alicia Coppola), is back on Friday for a hearing.
Victor scrambles to get out of jail before his scheme with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) blows up in his face. The Young and The Restless spoilers hint that Victoria will get shocking news in coming days and a plan unfolds at Newman Enterprises.
Victoria and Summer Newman (Hunter King) deploy a scheme to take down Luca Santori (Miles Villanueva). Luca wants to fight for Summer and realizes she schemed against him but she’s cold about it. Summer thinks Luca has been playing her this whole time.
Hilary sees a new physician, Dr Barton Shelby (Terrell Tilford), and after meeting with the surgeon, Hilary makes a move at the end of the week that no one saw coming and wants someone out of her life. By week’s end, both Chelsea and Phyllis totally lose it and are falling apart.
