Alyssa Milano Millions in Debt and Suing Accountant

“Charmed” actress Alyssa Milano is deeply in debt to the tune of millions of dollars and is blaming her former accountant, Kenneth Hellie, for her financial woes. Now, Alyssa Milano and her husband filed a $10 million lawsuit against their former business manager and accountant and are claiming he forged their signatures on business documents, gave them bad financial advice, including telling them to make bad investments, and neglected to pay the couple’s taxes on time.

Alyssa and her husband also claim Kenneth Hellie, who was also chosen to manage the remodeling of their home, allowed the remodeling to go over budget by close to $5 million.

But, Hellie is fighting back against the couple. He claims that he repeatedly told the couple that their home renovations, which began four years ago, were going over budget. In fact, the accountant claims that Alyssa and her husband ignored his warnings and personally approved additional work to be done on the house. Now, Hellie has filed a cross-complaint against the couple.

Hellie is claiming that he warned the star and her husband that their cash was running low and requested a meeting with the star to discuss their situation and options, but Alyssa skipped the meeting. He also claims that Alyssa’s husband, who is a Hollywood agent, refused to use his own money for the renovations and the agent suspects Alyssa’s husband was intentionally keeping her in the dark about their increasing financial woes.

The former accountant is also putting the blame on the fact that the couple continued to live a lavish lifestyle, even though their bank accounts were depleting. He pointed to the fact that they bought a second home as well as a boat, traveled by private planes, and enjoyed a country club membership as reasons they continued to go broke.

The couple also had a large staff they continued to pay, including several nannies and housekeepers. However, the attorney for Alyssa Milano and her husband is disputing the claims of a lavish lifestyle and instead claims the couple lived a “modest” lifestyle. Kenneth Hellie has not yet commented on the accusations that he forged their signatures on business documents.
