Is Amal Alamuddin hiding a pregnancy? That’s what fans can’t help but wonder as there’s a new report from her native Lebanon indicating that the International Human Rights lawyer is pregnant with twins. Amal tied the knot with Hollywood actor George Clooney in Venice, Italy in a lavish, star-studded ceremony back in September of 2014.
Several tabloid reports on the Internet indicate that Amal has been desperately trying to get pregnant for the last two years. Insiders allegedly say that 55-year-old George Clooney wasn’t initially on board with the idea. But seeing how much Amal wanted to become a mother, he finally gave in. For Amal, she knows that it’s now or never. She didn’t wait to wait too long and miss her window of opportunity. That’s why she pressured George to help make her baby plans come true.
According to Hanan Khaled at The Daily Star: “Amal Clooney and her husband George are expecting twins later this year, said a source close to Amal’s family in Beirut. The report implies that Amal told her close family members in Lebanon about the pregnancy. Apparently, she is expecting twins and is due in March.
And apparently it’s also the reason why Amal hasn’t been seen in public for months now. The last time she was seen by the media was back in November, when she attended the Texas Conference for Women. Since then, she’s been spending some much needed time off in London with her closest friends and family.
Of course, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have not made any comments about the pregnancy report just yet. In fact, many fans can’t help but wonder if the pregnancy rumors are true as Amal has not been seen in public for several months now. Although, fans know one thing for certain: the truth will come out sooner rather than later.
