Big Brother 19 spoilers tease that Raven Walton may have exaggerated her illness on the CBS summer reality TV show according to popular opinion on social media. Raven claimed that she was “very ill” and she wasn’t sure how much time she had left. Apparently, when she was a teenager, she had surgery and received her stomach pacer. It was supposed to ease the symptoms of Gastroparesis, which is one her many illnesses.
Gastroparesis is a condition in which your stomach cannot empty itself of food in a normal fashion. It can be caused by damage to the vagus nerve, which regulates the digestive system. A damaged vagus nerve prevents the muscles in the stomach and intestine from functioning, preventing food from moving through the digestive system properly. Often, the cause of gastroparesis is unknown.
Raven’s health has been a big talk on social media. Many BB19 fans aren’t sure they believe her story and question if she is as sick as she claims. There’s no question she is sick, but she is hardly dying as she has repeatedly claimed.
A few weeks ago, Raven told the house that she wanted to have a baby, but with her medical history, it isn’t possible. She added that having a child would be selfish since she probably will die within two years. Even so, she contradicted herself five minutes later when she said she wanted to freeze her eggs so she could hire a surrogate to have a baby for her in five years.
Josh Martinez asked Raven about her pacer. He was interested in how it helped her digest her food. She explained how plus told him that the unit is on level nine. Apparently, when the unit strength is maxed out at level 15, Raven will have no other treatment options. She implied that meant that she would die, but she never really said anything further.
Every time the Big Brother houseguest gets into a tiff with someone, she casually mentions that she is dying from two terminal illnesses. The truth is Raven doesn’t look sick. She shovels junk food in her mouth all day long. She competes in all the competitions. Raven does not look like she is dying.
