Tonight’s episode of Billions kicks off with Bobbly Axelrod sitting in the dark at a baseball stadium all by himself. Orrin Bach joins Bobby at the stadium for a secret meeting. Bobbly announces that he called Orrin there tonight to tell him how they are going to win.

Flashback 3 weeks earlier –

Bobby’s employees are all gathered outside of his building, waiting to get inside. They have unrolled a new security system, and all of the employees are forced to go through metal detectors, and are equipped with new bracelets. Once everyone is inside, Bobby takes the stage and gives a speech to the “hedgies” about the new rules and regulations for their new and improved office.

Meanwhile, Rhoades head to his office after a morning workout session. A man named Oliver marches in to Rhoades office, he announces he’s from Office of Professional Responsibility – and he’s there to look in to Rhoades’ misconduct. Oliver scoffs that he is there to find the truth, with or without Rhoades’ assistance.

Rhoades seems shockingly calm by Oliver’s arrival. It turns out, Spyros met with him a few weeks ago and tipped him off that Oliver was on his way and wa snooping around because of Bobby Axelrod’s bribery case.

Wendy is busy giving a speech of her own at Krakow Capital, afterwards, she meets with Todd and he tries to buy her off and get some inside info about Bobby. Despite parting ways with Bobby, Wendy is loyal, and tells Todd she’s not getting any info from her. Before she leaves, he offers her a gig at their office full-time.

After work, Rhoades attends a farewell dinner and gives a speech, the Head of the Criminal Dept. is retiring – Bart Scooner. Afterwards, Rhoades sits down with some of his co-workers to discuss Oliver Dake’s investigation. He hints that if everyone makes sure the investigation goes smoothly, he may be able to put in a good word for them to be considered for the new Head of Criminal Dept. The next day at work, Oliver Dake gets to work interviewing everyone at Rhoades’ office.

Bobby is determined to get Wendy back at his office, he pays her a visit at her new office where she is seeing private clients now. She’s not exactly thrilled to see him, apparently he had to use a fake name just to get an appointment with her. Wendy cuts right to the chase and says that there is no way she is returning to his company.

Bobby and Lara have a low-key barbecue night at their house – Max isn’t excited about being forced to hang out with Bobby, but Lara makes him suck it up. Bobby, Matt, and Raul hang out on the patio with the grill while Lara plays poker with her friend Mo. She’s trying to convince Mo to take a job at her kids’ school as the school nurse.

At the office, Mike Wagner has everyone on a mission to find a new “billion dollar idea” that he can take to Bobby. And, in his spare time, he appears to be up to another of his latest schemes and is contracting the tech guy at the office to hack in to an APP called “Raya” for him.

Rhoades is starting to sweat under the pressure. He’s making phone calls and calling in favors and trying to get Oliver Dake to wrap up his investigation. Dake isn’t going anywhere though, he made a shocking discovery, Bobby transferred $5 Million to his wife Wendy’s account. It was a bonus that Bobby gave Wendy the day that she quit. But, it certainly looks like a bribe. When Oliver reveals that he found the payment to Rhoades, he is livid.

Rhoades heads home and confronts Wendy as she is on her way out of the door. He I furious that she accepted a payment of $5 Million from Bobby, coincidentally on the same day that he dropped his case against Bobby, and never thought that it may be worth mentioning or misinterpreted as a bribe.

Tonight’s episode of Billions ends where we started, at their meeting in the middle of the night at the stadium – Bobby shares his plan with Orin. He wants to buy up all of the claims from every person that Rhoades has ever screwed over, and hit him with a massive lawsuit that he can’t ignore.

The next morning, Rhoades is on his way to work and nearly ran over by a messenger on a bike – and he serves Rhoades with 127 lawsuits, courtesy of Bobby and his lawyer. And, his day goes from bad to worse, he then receives a phone call from the Attorney General, he needs to report to the AG’s office ASAP.

THE END!
