It was only a matter of time before Brad Pitt began casually dating other women, especially as he allegedly struggles desperately to move on from Angelina Jolie. It’s now been several months since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie separated, and it’s been even fewer months since they’ve stopped trading public barbs via the tabloids. Things have settled into an unusual calm, and Angelina – with the couple’s children – has largely stayed off the radar, only surfacing for humanitarian-related efforts and random photo-ops with the children.
Brad Pitt, on the other hand, made brief appearances during awards season, and then retreated from the public eye. He was reportedly concentrating on his pottery and trying to heal his broken heart, but recently, sources also confirmed that Brad has started dating again.
People Magazine’s source explains, “Brad has been dating a bit. It’s not anything serious. He doesn’t have a girlfriend. It’s more of a way to get out and be social. He seems more comfortable double-dating and friends are helping out.”
Of course, it would be strange if Brad Pitt suddenly had a girlfriend, and again, it’s fairly obvious that he’s still nursing a broken heart and will be for some time. However, this supports other reports that had surfaced recently, claiming that most of Brad’s ex-girlfriends had been reaching out to him and trying to get back in his good graces, a.k.a. get back together with him.
There were reports of Brad Pitt and Sienna Miller sort-of-maybe-kind-of-dating, but again, that was more focused on the ‘flirtation’ and the not-serious vibe that has permeated these conversations. For all intents and purposes, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still embroiled in a divorce battle, and Brad likely knows that rebounding with another woman – even though he clearly doesn’t even want to dive into another relationship – would look bad for his image.
