Camilla Parker-Bowles is unhappy that Prince William and Prince Harry continue to praise Princess Diana – Prince Charles wife just can’t catch a break these days. Even though she’s desperately trying to win the public over by softening her image, she’s still stuck in Princess Diana’s shadow no matter what she says or does. And now it’s gotten even worse: there’s a new report that says Prince William and Prince Harry are set to appear in two Princess Diana documentaries, meaning Camilla will once again be pushed out of the headlines.
According to reports, William and Harry will be contributing to two television documentaries about their lives after Diana’s untimely death. She died in a horrific car accident in Paris back in 1997. What’s more, the documentaries will also focus on Princess Diana’s achievement and work with HIV and AIDS charities along with her campaign to rid the world from landmines. It’s without a doubt that everyone will be tuning in to hear what William and Harry have to say about their mother, especially since they’ve managed to remain quiet about it this entire time.
One source even told Britain’s The Sunday Times, “The Duke and Prince Harry have selected close friends and family members to speak about Diana, and some will be speaking about her publicly for the first time.”
Up until this point, both Prince William and Prince Harry have said very little about their mother’s death. Harry once said that he carries a lot of “buried emotions” about losing his mother while William told an orphaned child that he misses her every day.
Of course, the last thing Camilla Parker-Bowles wants to see is everyone focusing on the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. Sure, Charles and Camilla have been married for well over ten years now, but she’s still been struggling to make a name for herself.
Unfortunately, the public and even the media still refer to her as ‘the other woman’ in Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage even though it’s been several decades since their divorce. But at the same time, there’s very little that Camilla can do right now. Diana was a hugely popular figure before and after her Prince Charles divorce.
