Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal Alison Sweeney, who portrays Samantha “Sami’ Brady, has finished taping her time back in Salem. Many fans of the NBC daytime drama, were thrilled to hear Sweeney was reprising the role and have quickly taken to social media to voice their disappointment with her leaving after such a short stint. How do you feel about her leaving the series again?
DOOL’s Sami has got to be one of the most beloved characters and there is no denying she has a huge following; so when it was announced in mid-April that Alison Sweeney was returning to Salem, viewers were thrilled after she had such a disappointing exit in 2014. At the time of the announcement, Sweeney confirmed she would be filming in May and June for an extended visit and thanked fans for all their love.
The last time we saw Sami on Days of Our Lives, she had returned after her son, Will Horton (then-Guy Wilson) had been murdered by Ben Weston aka The Necktie Killer. While in Salem, Sami used the letter EJ DiMera (James Scott) had left her and stole Stefano DiMera’s (the late-Joseph Mascolo) fortune before skipping town to parts unknown.
Days of Our Lives spoilers have announced that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is also on his way back to Salem. Is it possible he will be returning with his mother, Sami and how will his “resurrection” affect his family and loved ones?
Will was married to now-CEO of Titan Enterprises, Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) when he was attacked and supposedly murdered. Sonny has finally opened his heart and been able to move on with Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) but that could quickly come to an end when Will emerges in town.
DOOL’s Alison Sweeney has brought such talent and entertainment in her portrayal of Sami, the show hasn’t been the same without her. Are you excited to see what Sami has been up to and what shenanigans she will pull while she is around?
