Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tyler Christopher (ex-Nikolas on General Hospital) is headed to the NBC soap. DOOL is staying tight-lipped about the role Christopher will be playing, but that hasn’t stopped Days fans from speculating. There are several great options for a talented performer like Christopher. He can undoubtedly pull off whatever material he’s given.
Some viewers suspect that Christopher will play Nicholas Alamain, the adopted son of Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel). Sorel and Christopher were recently spotted together on set, so it’s certainly possible. However, we can’t rule Christopher out as someone like Alexander Kiriakis or even an EJ DiMera recast.
Christopher would be a totally different version of EJ, but you never know what the show might be cooking up. There are plenty of lovely ladies that could be paired with Christopher, but many soap fans would love to see a particular actress join the cast. This one could create some buzz.
Natalia Livingston is known for her role as Emily Quartermaine on General Hospital as well as a brief stint as Taylor Walker on Days of Our Lives. Tamara Braun later took over as Taylor, but there’s a good reason to bring Livingston back on board instead. When she played Emily on GH, she was the true love of Christopher’s character, Nikolas Cassadine.
Nikolas and Emily were a popular General Hospital duo, so perhaps their portrayers could light up the screen on DOOL as well. Livingston recently sent out a tweet to congratulate Christopher on his new role. She pointed out that he’d make an amazing EJ. Livingston added “#TaylorWalker,” which could be a hint that she’d like to get back in the soap game.
Taylor fell for EJ years ago, so they could easily become an item again. There’s one bummer and that’s the fact that Arianne Zucker is exiting the role of Nicole. Since Taylor and Nicole are sisters, it’d be disappointing to miss out on all that competitive drama.
It looks like Nicole will get a happy ending. That suggests that the show won’t recast – at least not anytime soon. Still, it’d be fun to have Taylor around again. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that even more returns are in the works. Ron Carlivati is pulling out all the stops to make the show successful and CDL supports him fully in this effort.
