Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of September 18-22 tease that some tricky situations are coming up. For starters, Gabi (Camila Banus) worry about the double wedding. She’d love to watch Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Paul (Christopher Sean) tie the knot, but the other couple presents a problem.
Gabi knows it’s best to move on, but the thought of watching Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller) say “I do” is daunting. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Abby will understand how difficult this is. The ladies will have a heart-to-heart, which could ease some of the awkwardness.
Meanwhile, Abe (James Reynolds) will start the hunt for a new police commissioner. Now that Raines (Aaron D. Spears) is behind bars, Abe needs a more trustworthy leader. A few options will immediately come to mind.
Days spoilers indicate that Abe will ask Roman (Josh Taylor) to make a comeback, but that plan may not pan out. Roman is enjoying his role as pub bartender and Salem’s sage. Abe might convince Roman to consider it, but there are no guarantees.
The good news is Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) will be interested. The bad news is they’ll have to compete for the job. Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will also get caught up in a rivalry. When they realize they both want the same thing, it’ll spark a disagreement on how to handle it.
That’s not the only trouble Chloe will stir up in the week ahead. Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that a blunder will lead to more drama for Eric (Greg Vaughan). During a chat with Brady (Eric Martsolf), Chloe will inadvertently reveal that Eric still has feelings for Nicole (Arianne Zucker).
DOOL spoilers say Brady will track down Eric and make a shocking demand. He’ll want Eric to fire Nicole from the Horton Center immediately. Since Eric feels guilty about causing problems, he’ll agree to leave town instead. He just wants Nicole to be happy, but how can she possibly be content without Eric in her life?
Elsewhere, drunk Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) will be hospitalized after his vision of Will (Chandler Massey). His loved ones will stage an intervention, but it appears their efforts will fail. Lucas is out of control and it may take Will’s return to put an end to this crisis.
Finally, a dream will make Sonny question his decision to marry Paul. He just won’t be able to get Will out of his head. Will “PaulSon’s” vows actually happen?
