Giana tells the 10 remaining contestants that they will be divided into two teams. Each team must create an experiential restaurant that will serve a five course meal. Each team member will be responsible for creating one course of the meal. Matthew is immediately disappointed that it is another team challenge but decides he needs to step up and be a leader of his team. The team captains are Addie and Cory because they did the best in last week’s challenge.

Addie picks Jason as her first team member because he can make a great dessert. Cory choices Rusty for his big and bold choices. Addie then adds Cao, Amy, and Matthew. Cory picks Trace, David and Suzanne since she is the only chef left. The themes are first course – appetizer and jungle, second course -seafood and beach, third course – pasta and forest, fourth is meat and desert and the final course is dessert and mountains. Each contestant will shot a video describing their dish and then diners will view the videos and decide which dish they want to try.

For Cory’s team Rusty will make an appetizer of sweet potato gratin, for seafood Cory will make tuna crudo, Trace will make penne for pasta, David will make duck breast for meat and Suzanne will make baklava for dessert. For Addie’s team she will make an appetizer of skirt steak, for seafood Amy will make prawns, for pasta Cao will make pho, for the meat dish Matthew will make lamb and Jason will make berry compote for dessert. The teams rush to get their ingredients and start cooking. Things go smoothly for everyone until David’s duck starts to burn. He only has 15 minutes but starts over since his meat can’t be saved.

Once the cooking is complete each team has 45 minutes to shot a 30 second video. Addie’s team shot their videos first and all do well except for Cao who struggles. Matthew takes on the role of director and is well received. Suzanne has to go through multi-takes to get her video complete. All of her teammates get very frustrated with her performance. They start to run out of time so they decide to let the others make their videos and go back to Suzanne.

A room full of diners as well as Bobby, Giada and guest judge Tyler Florence will decide the winners and losers of tonight’s competition. Addie and Rusty go head to head for the appetizer. The diners pick Addie’s steak over Rusty’s potato overwhelmingly. The next match up is Matthew and David. The judges think both dishes are delicious. The last round is desserts and the judges loved Jason. The loved his video and his dessert, for Suzanne not so much. She says she is from the mountains of the Middle East when she is actually from Detroit and her dessert is very dry.

All of the contestants take the stage to face the judges. The three people who did the best in the challenge are Amy, David and Jason. They are safe for another week. Cory, Matthew both didn’t shine in their videos but their food was delicious and they are safe. Rusty and Addie also didn’t do as well in their videos but the judges liked their food. They are all safe for another week. Cao, Trace and Suzanne are in the bottom three and are at risk of being sent home.

Trace looked down at his dish instead of the camera during his video and his pasta was dry and bland. Cao did not describe her dish well and the diners had no idea what she was making. Her pho was also bland and lacked depth. Suzanne stumbled in both her video and her food. Her dessert was so dry the diners couldn’t even chew it. Suzanne is voted off and is sent home.
