General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the cliffhanger show on Friday, May 26 reveal the Nurses Ball drama will drag on longer than anticipated. Friday is when the armed intruders show up to attack the stragglers. Jake Spencer (Hudson West) is scared not to do his magic show after his unexpected visit from Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers).
General Hospital spoilers say it seems more likely that she was a hallucination from his programming, because why would the wicked witch show up in Port Charles just as she plans to have Jake destroy it? Tensions are high as Jake insists to Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) that he has to do his act. Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) comes over to ask Liz what’s the hold up on them leaving.
Liz hesitates about Jake’s performance. There’s not much of a crowd left, but his two assistants, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and Emme Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer), are there to help out and all three are eager. General Hospital spoilers reveal that there’s more Helena drama to come. Her influence seems to last far beyond the grave.
Jason will have a flashback about Helena just as things get really dangerous in the aftermath of the Nurses Ball with armed men and Chimera action. Could Jason have been programmed to help Jake carry out his deadly stunt? We’ll know tomorrow on the new GH episode, May 26. Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) have a loaded conversation.
Lulu asks Laura about something that happened and Laura tells her it didn’t go down that way. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is still trying to figure out where the Chimera can be and takes it as a good sign that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) told her she can search Cassadine Island for it. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) confronts Anna.
Andre wants to know why Anna always gives Valentin the benefit of the doubt. Anna still sees the good guy at the WSB that she did wrong when she looks at Valentin, not the man he’s become. Valentin wants Nina Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) to come home with him but she’s hesitant despite his romantic serenade. Valentin asks if it’s about Anna and she says it always is.
Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) sits with smitten kitten Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) who is crushing on him in a big way. Amy tells Nathan he’s done more for her than he knows. General Hospital spoilers warn that Amy is about to be Nathan’s personal stalker and worst nightmare. Too bad Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) didn’t turn up to rescue him from the clutches of the nutty nurse.
Across town, Ava Jerome (Maura West) has her go bag and is ready to skip out of town but Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) track her down. Carly threatens Ava with bodily harm and tells her not to lie about what she did to Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Ava finds herself literally cornered by Morgan’s parents and things look bad.
Remember that oil lantern Ava lit when she crept into the warehouse? When the confrontation gets tense, Ava hurls it at Sonny and Carly and the place goes up in flames. Ava catches the brunt of it and it looks like CarSon might have to save the life of the woman that helped kill their son.
