General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that when Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Williamson) comes back from the “dead” she has major news to spill about Valentin Cassadine (James Stuart) that will rock Port Charles and especially the Falconeris.
It seems that Valentin may have pulled a fast one when it came to the paternity of Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and the cute little kid is not who he claims she is. It’s bad enough that Charlotte thought Claudette was her mom, but this is worse.
Charlotte has had a rough time since she came to town. Claudette made her her to lie to Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) and call them daddy. Next week, Charlotte will overhear her Papa and Griffin talking and gets bad news.
Griffin accuses Valentin of killing Claudette and that’s how Charlotte finds out the woman she thinks is her mom is dead. That upsets Charlotte, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) comfort hers and decides to reveal that she’s her biological mother.
Charlotte just got the news that Nina Clay Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) is her new step-mom then she finds out Claudette is dead and that she was not her mom – Lulu is – and Charlotte doesn’t even know her. The kid’s life has been turned upside down.
Could it get any worse for poor little Charlotte? Yes! And it will very soon when Valentin’s lies are exposed by Claudette’s return. We know Claudette isn’t dead. The Canadian cop that told Nathan she’s dead was paid by Valentin to lie for him.
Valentin might have Claudette stashed away or she might be on the run. Either way, she won’t remain hidden for too much longer. Look for a sweeps return of Claudette who will wreck a number of lives when she comes back to Port Charles to spill secrets.
Claudette’s return means that Nathan and Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) wedding was not official so they’re not really husband and wife. But that’s not the big shake-up coming. Claudette reveals Valentin’s darkest secret – he’s not Charlotte’s real daddy.
Valentin loves Charlotte and thinks of himself as her father, but he’s not. He’s been lying and Claudette will reveal that he stole Lulu and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) embryo from Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and replaced it with a dud.
Then he had Claudette carry the child. Valentin rigged the DNA tests but Charlotte is not a Cassadine, she’s a Falconeri according to long-simmering GH spoilers. This is ironic because Dante has held back on feeling for Charlotte because she’s Valentin’s kid.
But the reveal of Charlotte’s true paternity will change everything. Lulu and Dante will be able to cut Valentin out of Charlotte’s life for good and have the happy little family they always dreamed of – with no Cassadine drama required.
