General Hospital (GH) spoilers are totally dumbfounded about Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and her choice of men. The latest glitch is Franco being accused of the murder of Liz’s rapist Tom Baker (Don Harvey), she can sure pick ‘em. Elizabeth, let’s get real.

So, Liz is in this absurd relationship with Franco the killer, who swears he didn’t murder Tom, yeh, that’s what they all say. Except Franco lures Tom to his apartment, places him in a dog cage for days, tortures the guy with a shock collar, and no bathroom? Franco, do you really think that Liz believes you are innocent? It’s hard to trust with your history and Franco says he did this all to protect Liz, excuses, excuses….

So does Liz trust him or not. She has three boys to think of and if she’s trusts Franco and is wrong she puts them at risk. If she breaks it off now, she will be hurt, but would be rid of the bum. But Elizabeth is having a difficult time with making a decision. Elizabeth, really? You are so trusting it’s pathetic, get real. Go talk to someone…

So for someone to talk to, the obvious person is Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). He’s so caring, compassionate and priestly, and not bad on the eyes, what better person to confide in. So she’s catches him at GH and wants a minute to talk; he obliges and speaks to her. She pours her heart out and he listens like any good attentive person would. Shakes his head, empathizes, validates her concerns, just like a good shrink would do.

Griffin talks about forgiveness, that’s big with priests, and shows interest. Liz appreciates his sensitivity and kind-heartedness; she has never known a man like him. He doesn’t tell her what to do but she feels better sharing with someone who is loving and normal, maybe not, that’s to be seen.

So, does Liz actually believe Franco is innocent of Tom’s murder – he certainly is guilty of a host of other serious crimes regarding his treatment of Tom. Does Liz give him another chance? Can she let him near her children, what happens to them when they misbehave in front of Franco – who fancies himself judge, jury and executioner as it suits him? Can she really trust Franco with her family and her feelings? How about trusting Griffin?
