General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jake Webber (Hudson West) had a major breakthrough during his session today with Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) even though the shrink didn’t recognize what Jake was saying. This is all back to the scarecrow that Jake drew while sleepwalking.
When Andre offered up a box of action figures, Jake grabbed up the Wizard of Oz scarecrow and witch. When Andre asked about it, Jake told him that in his story, the scarecrow and the witch are friends. That seems to rule out Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) as the scarecrow.
When it came to “friends, Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) didn’t have many. She had minions, occasionally partners in crime, and family that was mostly scared of her. General Hospital spoilers cliam that one person that was a friend of Helena’s and very scary in his own right is Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
If you think about it, Faison even sort of looks like a scarecrow with his wild hair. One could imagine him lurking around Cassadine Island in the olive grove and scaring small children. Faison is a bit of a frightening creeper.
Also, during the time that Helena held Jake in captivity, Faison was active in Helena’s life because they were making trouble together. The scarecrow would have to be someone welcome on Cassadine Island and that certainly meets the description of Faison.
It would also need to be someone who Helena would allow the run of the island without restriction. What’s more, Helena was keeping secret that Jake was alive, kidnapped and with her in Greece. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Faison is one of the few people Helena might have let in on her secret plans for Jake.
There have been Internet rumors swirling that Anders Hove would be back on General Hospital soon. The Faison actor’s IMDB page shows he’s been busy with film and TV projects in Europe but maybe he carved out some time to come back to GH to explain some things.
If Faison knew about Jake, that also means Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) might have known about Jake and kept the secret. There are still lingering questions about whether Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) knew about Jake.
Some of this will come out from Jake’s sessions with Andre and from things he says to Franco (Roger Howarth) but General Hospital spoilers tease that it won’t be until there’s a trip to Cassadine Island to fully explore the complete truth about Jake’s time on the Greek island.
The big problem is that Andre told Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) that he wouldn’t tell them what Jake said to him. He said his priority was Jake’s well being so it’s likely he won’t tell Liz and Jason what he heard.
That’s an issue because there could be things Jake says that might help Jason and Liz fill in the pieces of the puzzle. Whether Faison comes back for a cameo or not, it seems likely that he’s the scarecrow that was friends with the witch Helena.
