General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, February 17 show that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is being overly tender with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) while she ails and we learned he taught her Latin only she can’t recall it.
One person that won’t like Valentin treating Anna with kid gloves is his wife Nina Cassadine (Michelle Stafford). Nina was frantic when he stood her up, especially after the text saying he was in the hospital. Nina came to GH to care for him.
Instead, she finds Valentin caring for Anna and snaps. She demands to know what he’s doing with “that woman.” Nina can’t kid herself any longer about the deep connection Anna and Valentin share. How will Valentin calm his wife down?
Franco (Roger Howarth) is back from his spying mission at GH and reports back to Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) with bad news. He has to tell Liz that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) fired him and is planning to target the nurses soon.
Wonder how much firing Hayden will do before Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) contacts her and says she changed her mind about the layoffs and wants to try a different approach to save GH. General Hospital spoilers reveal a twist coming in the GH tale.
Liz will approach Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) for support. This must be about the nurse’s strike. Sam might have a sympathetic ear and she’s already up at the hospital. Sam is with Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) at GH when he gets a call from Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell).
Michael tells Jason that Tracy is up to something and wants him on alert. Tracy’s oldest son Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) wants Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) to spend the night and finds himself in a position where he has to defend her.
Olivia is nervous now that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) told her she thinks Ned is planning to propose. That big question is coming soon. Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins) and Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) talk about a life or death situation.
Julian Jerome (William DeVry) can’t deal with the pressure that Olivia “Liv” Jerome (Tonya Walker) is putting on him and decides it’s time to tell Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) everything. If Julian can get her to listen, this could be the first step back for Julexis.
It turns out Liv has been pulling Julian’s strings for a long time and is responsible for the awful events that caused Alexis to split with Julian. Julian finds himself in a situation soon where he has to make a deal with the devil – but who is that devil?
Back at GH, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is concerned about Anna’s test results and asks her if he can take a bone marrow biopsy. That’s a scary diagnostic step. A bone marrow test may indicate cancer and with Anna’s symptoms, nothing good will come out of the test.
