General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Franco (Roger Howarth) will soon betray his sweetie Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and goes to Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) behind her back. How does it happen that Franco goes to the man in Port Charles that hates him most? It’s about Jason’s oldest son.
Jake Webber (Hudson West) freaked out Franco and Liz when he quoted Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) mystery book about keeping secrets and not telling. Franco and Liz debated what to do about the weirdness and Franco offered to do some at-home art therapy with Jake to see what bubbles up.
Franco sits down with Jake this week to do some casual coloring and what Franco sees disturbs him. Jake’s drawings are shocking both for what they contain and what’s missing. Franco fills Liz in on what he saw but she’s still not ready to loop Jason in until they have something more concrete to report.
However, Franco is worried that his working with Jake without Jason’s knowledge will lead to an explosive confrontation between him and Jason – and that’s the last thing Jake needs. Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) giving birth to little Scout seems to have triggered long lost memories in Jake that must be addressed.
Next week, Franco opens up about his concerns and decides to talk to someone who never wants to hear from him – Jason. General Hospital spoilers tease Franco goes to Jason even though Liz wanted to hold off. Franco knows things will be worse the longer they wait, particularly if Jason finds out some other way.
Jake might casually mention to Jason that him and Franco have been sketching together and that would be enough to clue Jason in that there is art therapy happening at Liz’s house after hours. It’s bad enough for Jason to learn Franco has practically moved in with Liz and the kids but worse about the therapy.
One good thing is that Jason recognized recently that he had over-reacted to Franco recently. When Jason brought Sam into the ER the night she gave birth to Scout, Jason tried to follow the doctors when they told him to wait. Franco intervened and held Jason back and everyone expected a fight.
Instead, Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) was there and Jason told his old friend that he was wrong to go off on Franco and that Franco was right to hold him back. That was a big moment for Jason to ever admit anything Franco did was reasonable. Wisely, Franco walked away quickly after the encounter.
But Franco cares about Jake and Liz – so he can’t walk away from this. General Hospital spoilers say Franco tells Jason what’s happening with Jake, the creepy book, and the art therapy. Jason will be angry at Liz that he wasn’t told sooner, but Liz does have a defense. Jason was dealing with life and death matters.
Not only did Sam almost die but their baby was born in terrible circumstances and then there was the bomb ordeal. It’s not like Jason needed more drama on his plate. Franco steps up and informs Jason and then the plot kicks off where we see JaSam and Friz working together on Jake’s mystery.
