General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, May 19, tease that Ava (Maura West) and Carly (Laura Wright) will have a fierce faceoff. Carly has been a big part of Avery’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) life so far, but it looks like Ava intends to put a stop to that. She’ll declare that Carly’s time with Avery is over.
Carly will fold her arms and deliver a snappy comeback. She’s not afraid of Ava and her threats. It appears Carly will head over to Sonny’s (Maurice Bernard) to discuss how to handle Ava’s hostility. Of course, Sonny is busy getting it on with Martina (Daya Vaidya). He’ll insist that he’s got some moves she’ll never forget.
General Hospital spoilers state that Carly will catch Sonny and Martina in bed together soon. It’s not going to be a pretty scene, but Sonny will quickly defend his actions. He’ll argue that Martina is off the case now anyway. Sonny won’t see why Carly should care since she hopped in bed with Jax (Ingo Rademacher) right after their breakup.
Elsewhere, Jake (Hudson West) will do a trial run of his magic show while Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucy (Lynn Herring) look on. GH spoilers say Lucy will naturally think Jake’s act is adorable. Unfortunately, Jake has one trick he won’t reveal just yet. The chimera canister of doom will cause some serious turmoil before long.
Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will also offer to pitch in with the event. She’ll tell Lucy that she’s there to save the Nurses’ Ball. It’s hard to shut Dr. Obrecht up when she doesn’t get her way, so Lucy might as well agree to whatever she’s offering.
Meanwhile, Brad (Parry Shen) will continue to rant about how Finn (Michael Easton) should be fired. Griffin (Matt Cohen) will contend that Brad’s head is the only one that’s going to roll. Brad will be in hot water, but he’ll make a last-ditch effort to save his job. Stick with GH to see how that works out for Brad the troublemaker.
Other General Hospital spoilers indicate that Anna (Finola Hughes) will spar with Alex (Finola Hughes) over her scheme. After everything Alex has done, Anna will undoubtedly hold nothing back. Nathan (Ryan Paevey) will eventually save Anna somehow. Perhaps he’ll intervene once this feud gets out of hand.
This may not be the last showdown we see for Anna and Alex. GH spoilers hint that Anna will run into some problems with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), too.
