General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Dr Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) might be sick with more than allergies. Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) took his temperature and it was very high. That means it’s not a simple seasonal sniffle. On new GH episodes this week of March 2o fans learn if Olivia “Liv” Jerome (Tonja Walker) infected Griffin.
Liv gave Griffin an icky potion to drink when trying to transform him into Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan). She also cut him with a scalpel under less than sterile conditions. General Hospital spoilers ask was there something on the scalpel or something in the potion she blended that has made Griffin sick so suddenly?
Griffin was chased out of GH by nurse Liz to go home and recuperate, but rest may not help what ails him. By mid-week, General Hospital spoilers reveal Griffin is up at the PCPD jail to confront Liv. Why else would Griffin come to see her except to find out what’s causing his symptoms?
Griffin knew Liv was crazy, hates Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and wanted to bring Duke back from the dead. Aside from that, there are no questions Griffin should have for the mad woman obsessed with his father. It seems wiser for Griffin to stay away from the lunatic.
If Griffin’s illness persists, he may realize Liv made him sick and wants to know what was in the potion and where she got the scalpel she used. Remember Liv had that whole shop full of herbs and odds and ends and there is no telling what she brewed up and made him drink.
Has Griffin been infected with something horrible? Will he need medical attention? Also, on Friday March 17, Liv told Anna she knew a secret about her. Liv might know a twist on Anna’s pregnancy with Duke that ended in a supposed miscarriage – but might have been part of a larger plot.
General Hospital spoilers are swirling that Griffin is Anna’s son and the embryo was taken from her body and implanted in a surrogate. Liv might even have set up the theft of the baby but then lost track of the child when Julian Jerome (William deVry) shot her and that’s why she was surprised when she met Griffin.
Liv told Anna the tale of how she almost died after the shooting then spent years in China recovering and how it was a miracle she healed. Liv might have put the plan in motion to steal Anna’s embryo and when she “died” the plan went on without her resulting in Griffin.
Has crazy Liv figured out Griffin is not only Duke’s son but also Anna’s? Will Griffin’s illness trigger some bloodwork or other test that shows he’s biologically linked to Anna? It would be ironic if Liv’s attack on Griffin is what spurs him and Anna to realize they’re mother and son.
Since Griffin came to Port Charles, fans of Anna and Duke hoped he was their child. Liv could be the missing piece of the puzzle to explain how a seeming miscarriage resulted in gorgeous Griffin.
