General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Lulu Spencer Falconari (Emme Rylan) is going to get more and more desperate as her newfound daughter Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) actively rejects her attempts at mothering. But young Charlotte just met Lulu, so to her all the attention feels more like smothering!
What’s a mother to do? If Lulu were thinking rationally she would appreciate the girl’s apprehension and try to slowly ease her into a new household and family. But Lulu has hot-headed Spencer blood running through her veins, so instead of trying to get to know the little girl she has decided to launch an all-out attack to gain full custody of her little blond mini-me.
Not so fast Lulu! If a GH spoiler making the rounds is true, getting all litigious is going to get you nowhere! Because it turns out that Charlotte’s instinctual refusal to be besties is right on the money.
When Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) showed up in town claiming that Charlotte was his daughter, no one wanted to believe that the evil-doer could spawn such a sweet kid. But things got more outrageous when it was revealed that Charlotte was the product of his stolen sperm and Lulu’s stolen, frozen embryo. Huh? Who would do such a thing?
If I told you that supposedly dead Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) done did it, does it make more sense? Of course it does! Apparently sick, twisted Helena got her hot little hands on the last of Lulu’s famous frozen embryos (which everyone thought had long-ago spoiled). Then she hired a lackey who agreed to trick Valentin out of his sperm and carry the embryo to term.
But it would be just like Helena to pull a master two-fer con on the Spencer and Cassadine families. If General Hospital spoilers are true, Helena lied about Charlotte being the product of Lulu’s embryo. This little fib is childs-play for someone who once aspired to freeze the world with a rock named The Ice Princess, right?
Charlotte doesn’t want to play dolls with Lulu because she instinctively senses she’s not her daughter! Lulu isn’t thinking genetics and embryos, but there’s a reason that Charlotte’s kid-dar is whispering at her to avoid the crazy lady making playdates!
Kids act on instincts and if Charlotte actively resists being with Lulu, the deaf, dumb, and blind adults around her should take notice of her reluctance. I trust Charlotte’s instincts over two soap opera DNA tests any day, don’t you?!
What better way for Helena to break the collective heart of the Spencer clan than to gift them with an adorable, darling child, and then yank her away?
