General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason (Billy Miller) will be faced with a waiting game. Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) situation is quite dire, but Jason just isn’t willing to give up on her. He knows his wife is a fighter and he won’t accept anything less than a full recovery. Griffin (Matt Cohen) will soon be more optimistic about Sam’s chances, but he’ll warn that her mind will remain in a fragile state.
It’s going to take some time for Sam to get back to normal. Unfortunately, she’ll still have to answer questions about what happened to Sonny (Maurice Benard). Next week, General Hospital spoilers say Sam will have trouble separating fact from fiction. So much has been going on in her head lately. Since Sam has been battling constant visions of Sonny, it’s tough for her to say what’s real anymore.
Nevertheless, some clues should help Jason put it all together. Once Sonny is found and receives treatment for his injuries, he’ll get grilled about the incident as well. Will he tell the cops the truth or cover for Sam instead? He might feel like he should spare Sam any additional pain. It’d be easy for Sonny to blame Garvey (Rick Ravaenello) anyway.
Whatever the case, Jason and Sam will get through this crisis sooner or later. Alas, another one is coming down the road. Steve Burton’s (ex-Jason) return to the ABC soap is sure to cause major “JaSam” issues. Jason should be fiercely protective of Sam. He’ll realize that the last thing Sam needs is to see someone with his former face.
Of course, they’ll have no idea why this man is sporting Jason’s old look. General Hospital buzz hints that the two Jasons may be long-lost twins, but Steve Burton’s version could be introduced as somebody new initially. Will Jason clash with Burton’s character once he arrives in Port Charles? It seems likely since Sam’s sanity is at stake.
This dueling Jasons scenario could be fun to watch. As the details are revealed, the current Jason will make shocking discoveries that lead to even more questions. GH will drop some serious bombshells as this mystery unravels.
Once everything is out in the open, will Sam stick with Miller’s Jason or drift in the other direction? Time will tell, but you can bet that Burton’s character will end up in Sonny’s orbit before long. That’s one friendship pairing you can count on! We’ll give you updates as other news comes in.
