General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) is up to something on General Hospital and it could mean murdering her current arch enemy Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Could it be that Laura will snap over Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) heartbreak and take out Lulu’s unwelcome baby daddy so that Lulu can have sole custody as Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) only living parent?
Laura has warned Valentin more than once that if he hurt Lulu, she would come at him. Last week, the verdict in the custody case giving Lulu only supervised visitation devastated her. Even though Lulu has made some rash “Spencer” decisions when dealing with Charlotte, she’s still the little girl’s mother and deserves to parent her. General Hospital spoilers say Laura is furious and seething in anger that Lulu lost in court but is playing it cool.
In fact, Laura is playing it way too cool. Long-time General Hospital fans know that Laura is being far calmer than anyone should expect given the current circumstances and how badly her baby girl is hurting. And let’s not forget, Charlotte is Laura’s granddaughter where she only had grandsons before. Laura desperately wants Charlotte away from Valentin and with Lulu and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Valentin has no idea who he’s messing with when it comes to Laura. When Valentin looks at Laura, he sees a matronly grandma who doesn’t look like a threat to anyone. Valentin should look deeper into Laura’s past before he pushes her too far. Laura is two times guilty of homicide and when she killed before, it was for circumstances less severe than what is going on right now with Lulu and Valentin.
If you know your General Hospital history, Laura killed David Hamilton, her lover when she was very young and Laura also killed Theresa Carter, a woman that was sleeping with Rick Webber (Chris Robinson). Laura walked in on Rick and Theresa and that resulted in her accidental death. It’s true Laura never meant to kill either one but she has accepted that she’s a killer and might kill again under the right circumstances.
Lulu is unprepared to deal with six months of supervised visits and more obstacles between herself and Charlotte. Laura could ease her pain if she took Valentin out of the picture, but will she? Upcoming General Hospital spoilers reveal that Laura’s intense hatred of Valentin bothers Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). If Kevin and Laura are on the outs, she might feel like she has nothing to lose and could go after Valentin.
Laura might even see ending Valentin’s life as a public service. It’s not just Lulu that Valentin messed with. As far as Laura knows, Valentin killed her son Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) although GH fans are waiting for a recast and resurrection. Laura is in mama bear mode. It was hard enough knowing Valentin killed Nikolas and got away with it but now he’s breaking Lulu’s heart keeping Charlotte from her.
This could all be too much for Laura to take. We all know she has a history of mental imbalance. Laura might snap and try and kill Valentin in revenge over the harm he’s done to both Nikolas and Lulu. Will it go that far? Do you think Laura could become unhinged enough to kill Valentin?
