General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) puts a scare into Ava Jerome (Maura West) when she approaches her the week of March 27 with a threat and an offer. Lucy is willing to keep the secret that Ava had one of Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) pill bottles, but only for a very high price.
What will Lucy ask for and can Ava afford the steep asking price? Ava will have to pay it, no matter what it is and on the new GH episode Tuesday, March 28, General Hospital spoilers reveal Ava pays a “hefty price” for the silence. Ava has money and an art gallery, so will it be simply cash that Lucy asks for or something more invasive in Ava’s life?
By mid-week, on March 29, Ava and Lucy seal a deal for Lucy to keep quiet, but Lucy’s blackmail includes her hanging onto the pill bottle which likely has Ava’s fingerprints on it since she was handling it at the home of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) before she tossed it in the trash and Lucy found it.
As of now, the pill bottle is circumstantial evidence since Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) stole the placebos and replaced them with genuine Lithium pills, but there is still enough of a smoking gun there for Ava to land in hot water with Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) even if it’s not enough for the DA.
General Hospital spoilers tell us that unless Ava confesses, it seems like it would be hard for the PCPD to nail Ava for her part in Morgan’s death but, then again, someone could record her confessing and turn it over to the cops. Since Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) is the worst chief in PCPD history, she won’t figure it out on her own.
Ava will agree to the terms of Lucy’s blackmail but works up a plan with Scotty to destroy the evidence so this isn’t an ongoing threat. General Hospital spoilers reveal Scotty agrees to help Ava but then Lucy catches him red-handed and realizes Ava is trying to cheat on their deal and that sends Lucy off the deep end. We know she can be vengeful.
Sonny and Carly already suspect that Ava had some hand in what happened to Morgan because Ava has acted cagey since his death and said some suspicious things. For now, Ava is playing her cards close and has denied all wrongdoing and blamed Morgan’s death on Olivia “Liv” Jerome (Tonja Walker).
But General Hospital fans know that the truth will come out and Ava will be exposed for sending Morgan into the bipolar spiral that led to him stealing Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) car. Without Ava manipulating Morgan’s meds, he never would have been in the car and Julian would have died instead of him.
Ava knows Sonny will punish her if he finds out what she did to Morgan. Not only would he cut her out of baby Avery’s life, but he would likely kill her – Sonny wanted to kill Ava before he knew about the med swap, imagine after! Carly would also come after her intent on revenge. And since Carly is about to dump Sonny, there’s little reason why Sonny would hold back on Ava.
