General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, August 7, tease that Finn (Michael Easton) will check in with Sam (Kelly Monaco). He’ll want to see how she’s feeling and deliver some good news. However, Finn will immediately notice that Sam seems rattled. He’ll ask if something’s wrong, but Sam will look too terrified to blurt out the awful truth.
Of course, Sam’s not even certain she has her facts straight. She had a vivid nightmare about shooting Sonny (Maurice Benard) and kicking him into a dark pit. Sam knows it felt real, but so did her halluncinations. Her stress level will skyrocket as she tries to make sense of her dreams.
Meanwhile, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) will encourage Sonny to clarify his statement. Since Sonny claimed Garvey (Rick Ravanello) didn’t shoot him, Dante will wonder who else was there. He’ll hope to figure out the details so the cops can put the culprit behind bars.
GH spoilers say Jason (Billy Miller) will grow increasingly nervous. He’s starting to fit all the puzzle pieces together. Jason doesn’t want Sam to endure any more pain as a result of her condition. She wasn’t in her right mind when she shot Sonny, but Jason won’t be sure toxoplasmosis is a solid defense.
Fortunately, Sonny will manage to cover up what happened for the time being. He doesn’t want to cause additional problems for Sam either. Nevertheless, the truth will undoubtedly come out at some point. A soapy secret like this just has to be revealed.
Speaking of soapy secrets, Hayden (Rebecca Budig) is keeping one of her own. Jared (Matt Corboy) is threatening to expose Hayden’s big mistake if she doesn’t pay up. Hayden hit a young girl in a drunk-driving incident, but Jared took the fall. Now it’s Hayden’s turn to make it up to him, but she doesn’t have enough cash.
General Hospital spoilers say Hayden will visit someone in hopes of gaining some clarity. It looks like she’ll stop by to see somebody in prison. Hayden will tell a gray-haired man that she needs him to be honest with her. Is this her father or someone else? Either way, Hayden will ask a question that could alter her fate.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Kiki (Hayley Erin) will refuse to bail on Ava (Maura West). She’ll contend that she’s not going to let Ava sit around and wallow alone. Ava will try to turn Kiki away, but she’ll appreciate her daughter’s concern deep down.
Griffin (Matt Cohen) will also get a shocking phone call on Monday. He’ll promise that he’ll be right over to handle this urgent matter.
