General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the injuries Ava Jerome (Maura West) sustained may yet prove fatal. There have been questions about Maura’s fate and many GH spoilers are swirling that someone will die as a result of sweeps action. Since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is in good shape, it seems that Ava is the one that might lose her life. New General Hospital spoilers tease it’s Ava.
In coming new GH epsiodes, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) sits down with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) to have a serious talk about her mother’s condition. Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) already gave Kiki a warning that her mother’s fate was up in the air. But after another week in the burn unit, it seems that Ava’s condition takes a drastic turn for the worst.
Bobbie asked Kiki if her mom had a living will and she didn’t know. That was when Julian Jerome (William deVry) showed up and said he knows about Ava’s medical choices. General Hospital spoilers say that will become important very soon and it will come down to Julian versus Kiki making decisions about what’s next for Ava. The living will tells doctors if Ava wants to be revived, put on life support, or allowed to pass away.
Given that Ava is such a fighter, she doesn’t seem like the kind to have a DNR (do not resuscitate) order in her records. However, Ava also doesn’t seem like the type to want to be left lingering in a coma. It might be a choice that Kiki and Julian have to ponder soon. Kiki is angry at her mother and will tell Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that she can’t forgive her mother.
Will Kiki’s anger at Ava over her mom swapping Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) meds color her decisions when it comes to her mother’s health care? Julian might find himself having to fight Kiki to keep his sister alive at all costs. If we’re just going with medical science, Ava’s injuries are legitimately life threatening so it’s totally believable that she might die from her burns.
And while General Hospital summer spoilers tell us that Ava and Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) will fall for each other, that doesn’t mean that Ava might not die. It would be heartbreaking for Griffin to lose another woman if he can’t heal Ava, just like he lost Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Williamson) when she was pronounced dead (but might not really be gone).
It will be the end of next week, June 9, that Monica sits Kiki down for a serious talk. Since Kiki is dating Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins), Monica considers her like one of the family and is kindly warning Kiki that her mom might not recover or might never have a full life if she does live. Ava’s injuries are severe, so her fate is up in the air.
Will Ava live or die? Will Kiki break down and forgive her mother if she thinks she’s dying? How will Julian handle losing the only sister in his life that he loves if Ava’s condition doesn’t improve?
