General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) will be back to GH – it’s only a matter of time. Bryan Craig was at a GH event in West Palm Beach, Florida when he told stunned fans that Morgan is coming back and he’s in talks with the network about a return.
Soap Cities shared details of Craig’s admission over the weekend. Bryan told fans at the event that he would “love to come back” to ABC’s General Hospital. Reportedly the crowd went wild when he said Morgan will return and said it’s a matter of aligning his schedule with the soap’s story lines.
Also at the event, Robert Palmer Watkins (aka Dillon Quartermaine) reminded fans that Morgan’s body was never found. We all know that no body to be buried means the character is alive and waiting in the wings for a return, but what is this scheduling thing about and when can Morgan come back?
Right now, there are four major plots churning that are taking up all the time on GH. First is Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) tormenting Morgan’s parents Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) but this story promises to wrap by mid-March given recent GH spoilers.
Second is Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) interwoven story with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). This is a long-running plot that doesn’t seem to be winding down anytime soon. A third story is the Corinthos plot blended with the return of Olivia “Liv” Jerome (Tonja Walker).
This also promises to shutter by mid-March since Tonja Walker reveals that is her final air date for now. Fourth is the umbrella story of all the happenings at the hospital itself. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will see his addiction revealed soon and that will play out as he’s confronted.
There is also the strike at GH but that will settle along with Liv’s departure. With other loose ends to tie up, there’s no way Morgan could be back before April so the likeliest time for a return is May sweeps. Bryan Craig intended to leave the soap to pursue a movie career, but there are problems there.
On February 16, Bryan shared on Twitter some heated emotions after what we assume to be a day of disastrous auditions for him. First, he tweeted “some people are just so super famous and important ……or at least they think they are.” That one was pretty benign until the next two.
The second tweet was “Well today’s been sh*tty” followed by “There are ugly people in this world. Be careful who you work for.” All that adds up to Bryan discovering that it’s not so easy to make it in Hollywood. Perhaps he over-estimated his ability to jump from soaps to the big screen.
Since leaving GH abruptly in October 2016 and breaking his contract, only one project has appeared on his IMDB page, a BMX movie called Ride. Bryan is quick to share his successes, so if he had something else in the pipeline, he would have posted it on social media.
Fans seem to be divided on Morgan’s return. Some can’t wait to see Morgan back with Bryan in the role, but others don’t care whether the character returns. Vote in our poll below and let us know where you stand on this issue.
