General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) won’t cave into the threats from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to leave town. Nelle decides to stay in Port Charles and pursue her affection for Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell). GH fans might not like it, but General Hospital spoilers sources say Nelle is here to stay – for now.
Nelle tried to get Michael to listen to her explanation, but it fell on deaf ears. Both Michael’s parents warned him not to let his forgiving nature get the best of him with Nelle, but this star-crossed duo is far from done. Carly is crazy if she thinks Nelle is going to turn tail and run. She’s sticking around.
Michael really got to Nelle when they were trapped at the cabin a couple of weeks ago and now Nelle is in the position of pursuing Michael. She wants him to know that she has feelings for him too and wanted to pick a chance at love with him over her revenge scheme against his mom and dad before it blew up.
Nelle thought for a second about trying for a job at The Floating Rib when she saw they were short-handed but once she found out Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) owns the joint, Nelle had to forget that plan to earn enough money to stay in Port Charles. What else can Nelle do?
General Hospital spoilers for new episodes next week indicate Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) is furious to discover Nelle is still in town and shows no signs of taking the stuff she packed and hitting the road. Also next week, Nelle gets an interesting proposition and it could be for a job, but who would offer the kidney donor an opportunity?
Nina Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) is desperate for help at Crimson since she fired Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Nina took a shine to Nelle early on, so maybe it’s Nina that steps in to rescue Nelle from poverty. A job at Crimson would be interesting since the magazine is at the MetroCourt.
Since Nina helped Carly find Nelle, they have been closer, but they are not besties by any means. Nina knows what it means to be the pariah of Port Charles and so she might take pity on Nelle and offer her a job. Nina also owns an apartment and could kick Franco (Roger Howarth) out and let Nelle move in.
If it’s Nina that saves Nelle, she could stand a chance to survive. General Hospital spoilers say no matter who it is that gives Nelle a shot, the kidney donor will linger and fight for Michael’s love. Also, Nelle may find another ally in Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Joss is disgusted now that she knows about Nelle and her step-dad.
Josslyn is more likely to sympathize with Nelle over the Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) sex allegations. Plus, Joss is a fan of Michael and Nelle together and she might encourage Michael to forgive Nelle and give her another chance. This will infuriate Carly who just wants Nelle gone from their lives.
