General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) may be hiding a shocking secret that has nothing to do with the sister reveal related to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Does Nelle have something in common with Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman)? Is Nelle a prostitute?
A new video promo from Monday’s episode shows that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) has been snooping in Nelle’s apartment and reports back to Bobbie when the meet up at GH on the sly. The two are pretending to be enemies to trick Nelle, so they have to keep their talks on the down low.
Felicia and Bobbie will hop on the elevator and Bobbie pulls the emergency stop so the two can have a covert chat. Felicia tells her she suspects that “Nelle is being less than truthful about this boyfriend of hers.” Imagine that – Nelle is lying about something – that’s not anything new.
But then Felicia says that Nelle’s boyfriend is far more serious than Nelle has indicated. Nelle told Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) that things are just casual, but it’s more than that. Why does Felicia think so? She was at Nelle’s place and looking around her bedroom under the fake story of a makeover.
Felicia tells Bobbie that she found a brand-new bra in Nelle’s bedroom with a price tag still on it showing it cost several hundred dollars. Felicia thinks the expensive lingerie is from the mystery man and Bobbie says the “so-called boyfriend” must have money. Maybe it’s money he’s using to pay Nelle.
Is Nelle’s arrangement that she’s being paid for sex? Is she a secret hooker? Think about it. The Nelle plot has echoed Carly and Bobbie’s history a lot and we all know that Bobbie and Ruby Spencer (Norma Connolly) were both hookers. Is history repeating itself with a prostitution plot for Nelle?
If you think about it, Nelle being a hooker is plausible. After all, she works at the nicest hotel in Port Charles – so she surely has a pass key and could use guest rooms for trysts with clients. GH spoilers tease that Nelle might be a regular hooker or just a kept woman by one guy but she’s clearly playing games.
Is Nelle not really broke at all? Maybe Nelle is stashing away all her ill-gotten prostitution money while she plays pitiful pauper to make Carly look worse when the truth comes out that they are secret sisters. Nelle grew up poor, just like Bobbie, so she might have had to turn tricks to pay her way.
Nelle took pleasure in insulting Bobbie for making a living on her back. Perhaps Nelle takes it personally because she’s had to do the same thing. That also explains how she knew how to roofie Sonny. We’ll find out more soon about Nelle’s mystery guy because General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly discovers a clue this week.
Also this week, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is fed up with Nelle’s schemes and decides he won’t take it anymore.
