General Hospital (GH) spoilers from a new video promo show a shocking twist in the Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) drama when she defies Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and lets Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in on the “cheating” secret they have been hiding.
Sonny told Nelle that he would kill her if she blabbed to Carly about their night together or ever came to his house again. He promised her “it would be over for her” and said “I will make you go away.” Nelle cried for a minute but decided to continue with her revenge plan.
But Nelle is using a loophole – she won’t actually tell Carly anything. The new promo shows that Nelle copies the recording from her phone onto a flash drive of Sonny confession to sleeping with her and taking all the blame. Nelle slips it into an envelope and leaves it for Carly – with some blackmail info.
This all blows up next week just as Carly is making plans for her and Sonny to take a romantic trip together to celebrate him being off house arrest. Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) talks to Sonny about the Nelle issues and tells him again to come clean to Carly but Sonny won’t – then it’s too late.
Carly will be stunned when she hears from Sonny’s mouth on the recording, in his own words, that he slept with her poor little innocent assistant. Carly won’t like it and it will seem for a minute like the CarSon union is doomed. Nelle may get her revenge but at what cost?
If Carly shows him the flash drive and plays the recording, he’ll know it was Nelle and will come after her. Nelle will have no place to hide if it comes out this way. But that’s not the only exciting General Hospital spoilers news from the new video promo – there’s hot action at the hospital.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has collapsed and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) rushes her to GH. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) accuses Valentin of hurting her but this is not his doing. Valentin is angry at her but wouldn’t hurt her like that. They have too much history together.
Griffin issues a diagnosis and it’s not good. Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) will be back in Port Charles soon to check on her ailing mother. It’s serious enough to bring her cross country to deal with the situation – but is this a malady or attempted murder? That’s the big question.
Anna has been suffering blinding migraines and there’s also that mysterious memory loss. She can’t focus and has been faint. This could be from a devastating illness like brain cancer or a tumor – or it could be the work of Olivia “Liv” Jerome (Tonja Walker) for revenge.
Liv hates Anna more than anything and has been in town for a while so she could have slipped her poison that was slow acting. We saw Liv grab up a scalpel at GH the other day when she saw Anna – maybe she grew impatient that her plan was moving too slowly.
Whether it’s Liv’s fault or just a terrible medical coincidence, Anna is in dire shape and Griffin isn’t hopeful about her outcome. What will stun everyone is how stricken Valentin is and how worried he is about what will happen to Anna. Seems like he never got over her despite the rejection.
