General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Scarlett Fernandez who portrays sweet little Charlotte Cassadine, has gotten sick and hospitalized while the GH cast are all enjoying their 3 week break from filming. The talented young actress has shared on her Instagram account that she is currently in the hospital after x-rays have confirmed that she is suffering from a double ear infection and pneumonia.
From the photo Scarlett Fernandez has posted, she looks to be in good spirits and thanks the hospital staff for taking care of her. She even takes the time to point fun at herself, posting a photo from exactly five years earlier, where she is sitting with a cold compress on her head.
General Hospital fans were introduced to the delightful Scarlett Fernandez when she appeared on screen towards the end of 2016, when she arrived in Port Charles as the daughter of Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Williamson) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Charlotte quickly showed audiences that she could hold her own with powerful soap opera stars like Genie Francis, who portrays her grandmother, Laura Webber and Finola Hughes, who plays GH’s super spy Anna Devane.
Currently on General Hospital, Charlotte is in the midst of a custody battle between her papa, Valentin and her biological mother, Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan). Not to mention that Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) is bullying and upsetting the little girl because he hates Valentin.
Charlotte has been through a lot of drama in her short little life; first when Claudette claimed both Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) were her real daddies and then when Valentin returned to Port Charles revealing that Lulu was her real mother.
