General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, January 30 reveal that Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) will quickly figure out she made a grave mistake following Seth Baker (Michael Rodrick) home to talk to him about Franco (Roger Howarth).
Seth says several things that make it clear to Liz that he was the last person to see Tom Baker (Don Harvey) alive – and that’s because he killed his brother after Tom assaulted Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn). Liz is scared as Seth tells her she’ll never see Franco again.
Seth can’t let her go now that she figured out he’s the killer so Liz’s life is on the line. Franco (Roger Howarth) is also still in bad shape and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) wants to have a serious talk before he gets medical attention.
Will Sam call 911 before she starts working on Franco to try and protect Alexis? Franco was a little scared that Sam was his rescuer since he knows she has no reason to help him – and lots of reasons to hate him. But Sam wouldn’t leave him in that storage unit to die.
Sam asks Franco to please still protect Alexis and not tell the police what he knows. Unfortunately, Liz already told the cops. Franco will agree to shield Alexis. Franco will figure out that it’s not Julian Jerome (William deVry) that attacked him, but Seth and knows he’s the killer.
Alexis still doesn’t know she’s not the killer and goes to the PCPD to surrender herself for questioning. As she shows up, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) is busy trying to convince Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) to go help Sam save Franco.
Nathan and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) seem unable to solve a crime unless the perpetrator confesses. Nathan asks Kiki what she’s not telling him. She knows Franco kidnapped Tom – but the cops know that too based on DNA from the dog cage.
As Alexis is ready to admit she was with Tom the night he died, GH spoilers tease that her memories will become clearer and she’ll remember she didn’t kill him. Did she see Seth at the roadhouse in the alley where Tom died?
Nina Clay Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) brings Valentin Cassadine (James Stuart) to The Floating Rib and he wants to know why she dragged him to the dive. Has Nina arranged a meeting between Valentin and a lawyer for his custody case?
Any chance it’s Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner)? Maybe Nina saw Scotty’s jazzy new ads he’s been running! Nina tells Valentin she wants what’s best for Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and she knows that what’s best is Charlotte to be with them.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) goes to see Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) and is distraught. She’s all worked up over Valentin. Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) is worried about the custody battle and Anna wants to make sure the Greek loses.
Anna tells Griffin emphatically something she wants him to do. Later, Anna runs into Valentin and is horrible to him. This has Nina wondering what has gone on between Anna and Valentin and why the tone between the two has changed.
