General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, May 2 reveal Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is focusing on work to forget her grief over losing Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and her stress over the impending divorce. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) stops by the MetroCourt.
Sonny wants to try and reason with Carly over his assets but Carly says she has everything that’s his and she plans to keep it. General Hospital spoilers say it looks like the CarSon divorce will be ugly. It’s also too bad Sonny didn’t remember Carly owned everything of his before he had her ex Jax tossed out of the US.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny goes to drown his sorrows at The Haunted Star and meets Martina Morales (Daya Vaidya) and shares a heated kiss. This is the debut of Sonny’s new love interest but this might also be Carly’s divorce lawyer that she just hired. Things are about to get even more heated in their divorce.
Over at the courtroom, Ava Jerome (Maura West) runs into Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Scott wants to know what hole she’s in this time but Ava seems gleeful. She found out Carly owns Sonny’s stuff and that a messy divorce is coming and then things take an interesting twist.
General Hospital buzz is that Ava is at the right place at the right time to learn something else she can use against Sonny. An upcoming scene leaked showing Sonny talking to Martina about their kiss at The Haunted Star and that may be what Ava overhears plus finding out Martina is Carly’s lawyer.
This discovery could set Carly even deeper against Sonny and come out to benefit Ava. Scott is just glad Ava’s not into more criminal mischief that he’ll have to sort out for her. Scott is prepping for the arraignment of Julian Jerome (William deVry) and doesn’t need any more Jerome drama.
Down at the pier, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) talks to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) about her necklace and then she admits to making mistakes with him in the past. Anna also tells him he doesn’t know the whole story about what happened between them back then – of course there are General Hospital spoilers that insist it’s Alex, Anna’s twin sister, that Valentin is speaking with .
Over at Liz Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) place, Liz and Franco (Roger Howarth) discover the weird lion, snake hybrid Greek animal Jake Webber (Hudson West) drew and are very concerned. It’s the same pic as Anna’s necklace. Liz and Franco are right to be concerned. General Hospital spoilers tell us this is the root of major May Sweeps mystery that will unfold on Cassadine Island.
Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) discover the same drawing in the book Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) left to Liz. Jason believes something bad is about to happen on Jake’s birthday and says they have to deal with this right now.
Sounds like it’s time for a trip to Cassadine Island. Jason also decides it’s time to set aside his feelings about Franco once Liz updates Jason and Sam about the new drawing on Jake’s timeline. There are lots of clues in this Cassadine related mystery but no more information on it yet.
