General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is hot on the trail of solving the mystery of Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) meds. When Sonny figures out Ava Jerome (Maura West) is responsible for Morgan’s bipolar spiral that contributed to his death, he’ll be out for blood.
On a recent GH episode Ava had a panicked talk with Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) who tried to reassure her there’s no problems with the meds anymore. Scotty said he replaced the Lithium she took from Morgan’s bottle with genuine Lithium. But that answer didn’t satisfy Ava – nor should it.
When Ava asked for particulars on where Scotty got the meds, he casually told her “I’ve got a guy.” But Ava knows enough to know that not all Lithium is equal. There are different strengths, different brands, different size and color pills. The devil is in the details and that’s the big problem.
Since Sonny takes Lithium too and probably also gets his prescription filled at the General Hospital pharmacy, he should know what the pills look like and will know immediately when he opens the bottle that something is up. Look for Sonny to dig for answers that will lead him to Ava.
General Hospital viewers know that Sonny has been making a lot of secret phone calls lately and after Dante Falconeri (Dominica Zamprogna) handed Sonny the bottle of pills, Sonny made another call for assistance. Sonny told Dante that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) suspected something was off about Morgan’s meds, but he wouldn’t listen.
Sonny has a lot of guilt around that because he believes he should have noticed something was off with Morgan since Sonny has dealt with the ups and downs of bipolar illness and medication issues. Sonny feels like Morgan would be alive today if he had been paying closer attention, and he could be right.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that once Sonny figures out the medication isn’t Morgan’s, he’ll know someone was tampering with it and that will lead him to Ava. Sonny always suspects Ava when there’s anything bad going on around him, particularly when it comes to Morgan, given Ava and Morgan’s tangled past.
Julian Jerome (William deVry) is behind bars now and the PCPD may need to set up a brother-sister cell if Dante figures out what Ava did. Dante would love to arrest Ava and he already suspects her. General Hospital buzz is that if Sonny figures it out first, he won’t go to the cops, he’ll kill Ava himself.
Ava is plagued by a guilty conscience but she also knows if she tries to come clean to absolve herself, Sonny will kill her. In an interesting twist, Ava spends time with ex-priest Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) and finds herself opening up to the hunky former Father about her woes.
Will Griffin keep Ava’s secrets from Sonny? How much will Ava tell Griffin and will it be enough for him to realize that Ava is part of the circumstances that led to Morgan’s death?
