General Hospital (GH) spoilers for upcoming episodes show Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a plan up his sleeve to get his assets back from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) so she doesn’t take him to the cleaners in their upcoming bitter divorce. Sonny will put his wiles to use to get what he wants.
We know from watching General Hospital that Carly has a hard time resisting the dimpled dashing mobster and Sonny knows this. No matter what else is going on with them, he can always count on their chemistry and that he can get Carly to do whatever he wants when he’s got her between the sheets.
Carly gets a lawyer next week and General Hospital spoilers hint it will be Martina Morales (Daya Vaidya) who will become Sonny’s new love interest, but Sonny isn’t quite done with Carly yet. Sonny may be done loving Carly but he’s not done playing dirty with her – and he’ll sink to a new low very soon.
Some GH fans thought Sonny had hit rock bottom when he tried to have Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) prosecuted for buying a kidney to save his daughter Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy). But no. Sonny sunk lower when that failed and he called immigration to have Jax thrown out of the US for good. Sonny knew that would devastate Carly and Joss, but he didn’t care. Sonny’s in revenge mode.
And now that Jax is gone, Carly will be his new revenge target. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) warned Sonny that Carly owns all his assets since he signed them over when he was arrested for Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) car bomb death. The charges were dropped but the deal is done.
Diane told Sonny he might have to move to South America or his island and live off his offshore accounts, but no way will Sonny let Carly run him out of Port Charles – even though that’s exactly what he did to Jax. But how can Sonny get Carly to sign everything back to him given how furious she is?
General Hospital spoilers tease the answer is that he’ll play on her passion for him. Next week, on new GH episodes from May 1 to May 5 Sonny meets Martina and they have a moment and that convinces Sonny he has yet another reason to stick around Port Charles. Now all Sonny has to do is get his assets back. Carly throws herself into work the same day.
But then the next day, Sonny gets together with Carly with a plan. General Hospital spoilers for that day say Carly has a momentary lapse in judgment and a moment is all Sonny needs. Sonny hopes to seduce Carly and get her to sign some documents in a moment of weakness when she’s feeling passionate.
GH buzz is that after that, Carly realizes something is amiss and she grows suspicious of her soon to be ex-husband. Sonny feels good because he thinks he got away with something but this will come back to bite him. It seems that Sonny’s tricks won’t work and he’s got big worries when it comes to his divorce.
