General Hospital spoilers and a new GH promo teaser reveal Laura Webber (Genie Francis) is about to be put in an impossible situation, after her grandson, Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) tells his little cousin, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) that her father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is an evil man who murdered his father, Nikolas (then- Nick Stabile) in cold blood.
GH spoilers tease Laura will have to face the truth when it comes to Charlotte. Her time on Cassadine Island, Greece makes her firmly believes that Valentin killed her eldest son, Nik but Valentin insists they don’t truly know if Nikolas is dead as his body was never recovered and this wouldn’t have been his first attempt at faking his death. Laura is torn between her grandchildren and struggling with the doubt Valentin has placed in her mind. Who doesn’t feel for the grandmother and grieving mother?
General Hospital’s Valentin is furious over his nephew telling his beloved daughter what he thinks to be the truth. Spencer made Valentin look like a monster to Charlotte, destroying her innocent and loving view of her papa. Valentin have every right to be angry at the situation and do everything in his power to make sure Charlotte continues to look at him as her “hero” and adoring father.
No matter what the people of Port Charles think of Valentin, he has always been an amazing father to Charlotte and dotes on her like she is his entire world. Fans of the ABC soap opera have watched as Valentin has tried to give his daughter the world – a daughter he claims was conceived out of deception by the evil Cassadine matriarch, Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers).
It would appear Valentin is just as much a pawn in this parental mess as Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is. Young Charlotte has been through so much in her short years, its no wonder Valentin wants her to view the world through innocent eyes for as long as possible.
