General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, August 17, tease that a celebration will get underway. Mac (John J. York), Felicia (Kristina Wagner), Anna (Finola Hughes) and Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) will all toast to the newest member of the family. Robin (Kimberly McCullough) recently had her little one, so this certainly gives the whole gang a reason to raise their glasses.
While they enjoy this happy moment, things will be tense in Hayden’s (Rebeeca Budig) office. Finn (Michael Easton) wants to find Hayden and he thinks Curtis (Donnell Turner) is just the person to help him do it. Unfortunately, Curtis will object to that idea. He’ll point out that Hayden covered her tracks and cut all ties.
Nevertheless, Finn will still end up getting some assistance in Thursday’s new GH episode. Even if Curtis refuses to budge, Elizabeth’s (Rebeeca Herbst) sudden realization could prove useful. Thanks to Dr. Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) gloating, her plot to bring down Hayden has been discovered. The doc’s own downfall is looming.
Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz will confront Dr. Obrecht about her scheme, but she’ll declare that Hayden got what she deserved. Once Finn realizes Dr. O was involved, he’ll undoubtedly push for details. He’ll want to know anything that might aid the search for Hayden. Finn could try to retaliate as well, but he’ll naturally be more concerned about locating Hayden first.
Elsewhere, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) will give Amy (Risa Dorken) updates on the latest Ask Man Landers drama. He’ll probably mention Felicia and Mac’s naughty rendezvous in the park. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) doesn’t suspect that Nathan is the face behind the column, but she’s getting too close for comfort. Nathan just wants all of this to be over ASAP.
When Amy drops a hint about continuing the ruse, Nathan will suggest that this has to end. He’ll hope that Amy’s not seriously asking him to go on as Man Landers. Amy may have another trick or two up her sleeve. General Hospital spoilers reveal that more trouble is brewing. Does Amy still need Nathan to come through for her?
Across town, Maxie will also need someone she can count on. She’ll think Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) has the perfect skills for this job. Maxie will insist that she has a pressing mystery for “The Jackal” to solve. Since Maxie wants to learn Man Landers’ true identity, she may need some help with that. If anyone can tackle this challenge, it’s Spinelli!
