General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, July 20, tease that Laura (Genie Francis) will know just who to turn to for help. Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) is missing and his grandmother is growing increasingly fearful. Laura suspects that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was behind the kidnapping, but she has no idea where Spencer might be. She’ll worry that the cops won’t be able to figure it out in time.
Sonny and Carly (Laura Wright) will be surprised when Laura stops by. She’ll explain the situation and beg Sonny to pitch in. GH spoilers say Sonny will insist that he can handle it. He’s the kind of guy who takes care of business, so maybe he can give Spencer a fighting chance. A huge clue will emerge by the end of the week.
Across town, Valentin will defend himself. Despite the eyewitness account and the Hamlet notes he was carrying, Valentin claims he’s not to blame. He won’t have much luck getting anyone to believe that, but it’s probably true. As Valentin suffers, he’ll hope that Nina (Michelle Stafford) might have some faith in him.
Nina will look in Valentin’s eyes and wonder what the real story is. She’ll want to believe that the man she loves is innocent, but it’ll be a challenge. Elsewhere, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) will explore any new leads. He’ll also make a phone call to secure a meeting with someone in Thursday’s episode. Dante intends on leaving no stone unturned, but he’s going to need some assistance.
Meanwhile, General Hospital spoilers say another showdown is brewing. At GH, Hayden (Rebecca Budig) won’t be happy about Dr. Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) loitering. She’ll demand to know what Dr. O is still doing there. Hayden will argue that the shady doc should’ve been long gone by now.
Dr. Obrecht will scowl in Hayden’s direction as she contemplates her plot. Hayden is Finn’s (Michael Easton) main squeeze and that makes her Dr. O’s next target. She wants to hit Finn where it hurts, so going after Hayden makes sense. Hayden’s past will become a major issue for her in the coming weeks.
Nearby, Lucy (Lynn Herring) will find Finn to deliver some great news. She’ll excitedly point out that she has the keys to his dream house. Finn’s other townhouse plans fell through, but it was actually a lucky break. Now he has the opportunity to get a home that’s absolutely perfect.
