General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, August 8, tease that Sam (Kelly Monaco) will battle guilt over what she’s done. She’ll approach Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) bedside to tell him how sorry she is. As tears flow, Sam will exclaim that she left Sonny to die. She’ll feel horrible about the traumatic experience Sonny endured.
Sonny will undoubtedly remind Sam that he’s tough and pulled through it. He’ll promise that he doesn’t hold her responsible for her behavior. Toxoplasmosis and encephalitis deserve all the blame here. Meanwhile, Jason (Billy Miller) will wonder where Sam has run off to. He’ll start searching when he realizes she’s not in her bed.
Meanwhile, Jared (Matt Corboy) will make Hayden (Rebecca Budig) squirm. He’ll attempt to ensure his payment by raising the stakes. Jared will introduce himself to Finn (Michael Easton) and mention that he used to be married to Hayden. This should lead to some veiled threats and a highly uncomfortable conversation.
Across town, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) will also have an awkward chat. Now that Sonny is safe, Carly (Laura Wright) will try to solve the shell casing mystery. She’ll confront Nelle and demand to know how she ended up with it. Carly makes the former schemer incredibly nervous, but Nelle still won’t want to betray Josslyn (Eden McCoy).
Michael (Chad Duell) might step up clarify what happened. Once everything gets sorted out, Carly will briefly put aside her issues with Nelle. She’ll manage to mutter a “thank you,” which should give Michael some hope for the future.
Of course, this won’t solve Carly and Nelle’s problems. General Hospital spoilers say there’s sure to be more drama eventually. It looks like Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) will have to deal with some drama as well. She’ll feel like she’s never going to be part of the Quartermaine clan, but Monica (Leslie Charleson) may disagree.
Ned (Wally Kurth) married Olivia and that makes her family. It may take some time for Olivia to feel accepted, but she should never doubt that she’s worthy of Ned’s last name. Back at GH, General Hospital spoilers say Monica will hear Finn’s latest news. He’ll mention his engagement and ask for Monica’s approval on something.
Finn might want a couple weeks off for the vacation Hayden planned, but she probably hopes they can stay away for much longer. Hayden is desperate to get out of the mess Jared has created. Elsewhere, Oscar (Garren Stitt) will fear that he’s made a mess, too. Josslyn will explain that the metal scrap Oscar found was actually a bullet remnant.
Oscar will hate that he gave Josslyn something so disturbing, but she’ll point out the clue helped save Sonny’s life. It sounds like just about everything brings Oscar and Josslyn closer these days.
