General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) continues to be torn between two very different women: WSB Agent Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and the needy and unstable, Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford). Who do you feel is the better woman for him?
GH’s Nina was like a wounded bird when she woke from her coma a few years back. She found out her unborn baby died, her husband was a cheater and her mother was the cause of all her medical problems, including the fact that she couldn’t carry another baby on her own.
Theo Hart aka Valentin Cassadine, came to Port Charles and she had the excitement of a one-night-stand with him; upon discovering the truth, she still felt an attraction to him, even more so when she found out he had a young daughter, Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). The woman who gave birth to her had vanished and the truth came out that Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) was her biological mother; forced Nina to pull the desperate move of marrying a man she barely knew.
General Hospital fans know that Nina has never been very stable mentally and the more Valentin mysteriously disappears, the more she becomes unhinged. She is loves Charlotte and truly considers herself to be her mother; but should that love be the reason Valentin stays with her?
GH’s Anna Devane has incredible strength as she fights her blood disease and her uncertain feelings towards a man she is supposed to loathe. Valentin was the elusive Cassadine who was supposed to be the worst of the bunch; but the man Anna sees, is nothing like the stories she has been told. He may have turned into a monster, thanks to her twin sister, Alex but her memories are of a kind, disfigured WSB agent at the Academy.
Anna and Valentin challenge each other, they share history at the WSB and now that the Chimera project has been found; is it possible these two could become a duo fans would root for? Who do you think is the better woman for Valentin? Who does Valentin truly love?
