General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 16, tease that it’ll be a big day for “Friz” fans! Liz (Rebecca Herbst) will be pleasantly surprised when Franco (Roger Howarth) comes back to Port Charles. She’ll immediately wrap her arms around him and lean in for a steamy kiss. Liz will want to give Franco her undivided attention as they enjoy their warm reunion.
Meanwhile, Griffin (Matt Cohen) and Ava (Maura West) will have a deep conversation. The sexual tension is building thanks to a bee sting and the removal of Griffin’s shirt. Things will cool down a bit when Ava decides no one could ever be attracted to her. She’ll pull away, but Griffin will suggest that he’s tempted.
General Hospital spoilers say Ava will also fantasize about a scar-less life. Since GH’s latest promo features a hot kiss between Ava and Griffin, that might be part of the fantasy. They may not share a real smooch now, but their relationship will continue to develop. Many lip locks could be in their future.
Elsewhere, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) will try to figure out what Parker’s (Ashley Jones) up to these days. She’ll ask about her love life and suggest that she’s entitled to know how it all worked out. Ashley will admit that she’s single and finding a new path. General Hospital spoilers state that Kristina will reflect on happy memories as she contemplates her next move.
Across town, Finn (Michael Easton) will be desperate to track down his runaway bride. Curtis (Donnell Turner) will show up to stop Finn from chasing Hayden (Rebecca Budig). He’ll think it’s obvious that Hayden doesn’t want to be found. Curtis will contend that Finn can spare himself a lot of pain by letting go.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Jared (Matt Corboy) will be angry that his ex-wife screwed him over. He’ll rant to Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in Wednesday’s episode. Jared will feel like he deserves his money, but Dr. O won’t care. She’ll just hope that her evil plan led to total devastation for Finn.
Dr. Obrecht’s curiosity will get the best of her and that should lead to bad news later this week. As for Finn, he’ll end up in a fight with Jared pretty soon. Their battle will quickly heat up, so GH viewers will want to stay tuned.
Finn will appreciate the support Curtis offers during this crisis. He’s got a tough road ahead of him, but he’ll get through it with a little help. We’ll give you updates as other GH details emerge.
