General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, July 19, tease that Spencer’s (Nicholas Bechtel) kidnapping will spark chaos in Port Charles. Naturally, the finger will be pointed at Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). His thinly veiled threats aren’t helping matters. It’s clear that Valentin would have a motive to snatch Spencer, but would he really stoop that low?
Since a witch hunt is kicking off, GH may be leading us down the wrong path. That way they can pull off a big surprise when someone else is revealed as the kidnapper. We know Garvey (Rick Ravanello) will be back in the picture before long. It’s possible that he abducted Spencer to get revenge on Sonny (Maurice Bernard).
Of course, there are other options to consider. General Hospital might pull off some other shocker that they haven’t even hinted at yet. For the time being, Valentin will remain the top suspect. He’ll realize that Spencer is going to be an even bigger problem than he thought. The last thing Valentin needs right now is to be accused of kidnapping.
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) will stop Valentin and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) as their little ice cream party breaks up. He’ll suggest that he needs to ask Charlotte’s papa a few questions before they go. Meanwhile, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) will make a phone call to help with the investigation. He’ll tell someone that he needs to talk to him or her about Spencer Cassadine.
Nathan will meet up with Nina (Michelle Stafford) soon, so maybe she’ll receive this call. Nina might need to provide info on her recent interactions with Spencer so they can sort all this out. GH spoilers say Nina will also get a visit from Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in Wednesday’s new GH episode. She’ll be surprised when Dr. O announces that she has business to discuss.
Devious Dr. Obrecht will look pretty pleased with herself. Does this involve her plot to bring down Hayden (Rebecca Budig) and destroy Finn (Michael Easton) in the process? It sounds like this scheme is taking shape.
Across town, Finn will deal with more drama at General Hospital. He’ll insist that there’s no way he failed his last drug test. Let’s hope he can finally put this issue to rest. Elsewhere, Julian (William DeVry) will ask Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to be a witness for the defense. She’ll definitely be a bit thrown by this request.
Alexis will ask Julian some tough questions as she mulls over this decision. If she’s going to testify on Julian’s behalf, she needs to know what she’s getting herself into.
