General Hospital Spoilers: Week of August 21 – Risky Deals, Shocking Revelations and Crushing Blows

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 21 through 25 tease that some huge surprises are on the way. First, Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) will be stunned by the identity of her blind date. It sounds like Stella’s (Vernee Watson) matchmaking will push Curtis (Donnell Turner) in Valerie’s direction. They’ll definitely face some awkwardness as they navigate this tricky situation.

Meanwhile, Sam (Kelly Monaco) will make a choice that could change her life. She’ll probably decide to come clean about shooting Sonny (Maurice Benard), but will she get the chance? Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is still on the case, so Sam may cut it close.

General Hospital spoilers say Carly (Laura Wright) will be shocked when she gets updates on Sam’s actions. She’ll lash out at the people who have lied to her face, including Jason (Billy Miller) and Sonny. They’ll do their best to explain why they covered for Sam, but GH fans can expect some serious tension.

Sam will be upset with Jason as well. She may find out about all the sneaky moves he’s been making behind her back. This couple will face a few trust issues, but they’ll manage to work through them a little later.

Elsewhere, Rudge (David Lee) will infuriate Julian (William deVry) as the trial resumes. It appears Rudge’s testimony will help put Julian away. A crushing verdict will be reached by the end of the week. General Hospital spoilers say guilty Julian will head to prison, but watch out for his comeback this fall.

In the meantime, Ned (Wally Kurth) will approach Michael (Chad Duell) with an offer. After they talk it over, Michael will approve of Ned’s latest idea. They’ll make a deal, but trouble could be brewing. Is Michael walking into a trap? Ned would like to take over at ELQ, so Michael needs to watch his back.

Other General Hospital spoilers hint that Ava (Maura West) will rely on a hero. Griffin (Matt Cohen) will defend Ava when she’s faced with criticism from an enemy. She’ll continue to fall for her knight in shining armor. Ava will also respond to a request from Franco (Roger Howarth) pretty soon. He may be hoping to reach an agreement regarding the display of his artwork.

Across town, Anna (Finola Hughes) will turn to Finn (Michael Easton) when an unexpected problem arises. Finn will do whatever he can to pitch in. He’ll still feel lost without Hayden (Rebecca Budig), but this is his opportunity worry about something else for a while.

Finally, Nina (Michelle Stafford) will soften toward her ex. A conversation with Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) could help move Nina and Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) reconciliation along.
