General Hospital spoilers reveal that the little green monster of jealousy is coming out of Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) when it comes to her new husband, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and his mysterious connection to WSB Agent Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
When Valentin arrived in town he fooled everyone, including Nina into believing he was Theo Hart; Nina was furious when she learned of his deception but they slowly gravitated back to each other; the question is whether there are true feelings between them or are they just a convenient solution to both their problems?
General Hospital’s Nina was robbed of being a mother when she lost her baby while she lay in a coma thanks to her mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills). Waking up 20 years later, would devastate anyone, especially when you learn you are past the child-bearing stage in your life. Most women have other options like surrogacy or adoption, but with Nina’s instable and criminal history, these options were unattainable, until now.
Nina cares deeply for Valentin and she is able to bring out the sweeter side of him, but is she really a good fit for him? She only suggested marriage because of his daughter, Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez); and now that she is her stepmother and only real motherly figure Charlotte has, is she only staying for the little girl?
GH’s super spy and rival, Anna Devane is doing everything in her power to uncover Valentin’s past and expose him for the monster people have claimed him to be; until she fell sick and lay unconscious on his floor at Windermere. General Hospital fans could clearly see how affected he was seeing her so helpless.
Anna brings out a passion in Valentin that shows their undeniable chemistry. She is feisty and determined; she challenges him at every turn. She is obsessed with their emotional connection back when they were training in the WSB Academy. Could the full revelation of their past blur the lines of hatred and love enough for Anna to realize how important Valentin is to her and how much she actually cares for him?
General Hospital’s Anna has been pretty lonely since the death of her beloved Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan), maybe it’s time she begins anew with someone who she claims was a good friend from the past.
