Jennifer Lopez is back to her diva antics. She tried hard to brush them under the rug. But it looks like those diva rumors are making its way back to the spotlight. Jennifer Lopez was reportedly the biggest star to attend the Robin Hood Foundation benefit. She also acted like the biggest diva there.
According to a Page Six report, J.Lo shut down the bathroom at the event just so she can powder her nose. First, who powders their noses anymore? That sounds so old Hollywood. These days, these Hollywood actresses and starlets are contouring their noses. She reportedly had security guards shut down the bathroom so she could have the bathroom all to herself.
An eyewitness told the magazine that she asked four of her security guards to block the ladies’ room at the event, located at the Javits Center. There was a long line of people waiting for J.Lo to leave the bathroom. According to the report, it sounds like they were waiting several minutes for her to leave so they could use it. There were plenty of other stars there, including grande dame Deeda Blair.
People assumed that some big politician like Hillary Clinton was occupying the bathroom. Then they noticed that Alex Rodriguez was also waiting around for J.Lo. Then, Jennifer finally left the restroom with her four security men in tow who finally let the people in. They were not happy to see that it was only Jennifer Lopez who wanted to use the bathroom to herself.
A-Rod and Len Blavatnik were co-chair of the gala. The event turned out to be successful despite J.Lo’s diva antics. They raised $54.5 million from the ritzy crowd that included the likes of Eli Manning, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Henry Kravis, and Kenneth Griffin. But, somehow Jennifer Lopez was the biggest name of the night.
Another eyewitness noticed that A-Rod and J.Lo were the only ones who needed security that night. So many people were walking up to them, that they needed the four security guards to protect themselves. The reason why Jennifer Lopez also needed security guards and the bathroom to herself is because she didn’t want to get interrupted. She didn’t want a fan to come up to her and ask for an autograph or a selfie in the restroom.
Sounds like J.Lo needed some privacy. But, did she really have to cause all that fuss? Still, Governor Andrew Cuomo was the one who had more security than Jennifer Lopez. It sounds like she wasn’t the only diva there.
Speaking of divas, Mariah Carey performed at the event. It’s not clear whether she had a team of security with her. Reps for J.Lo and A-Rod have not commented on this matter.
Jennifer Lopez is on top of the world right now. She has a hit show on TV and a long-running show in Las Vegas. She’s also dating Alex Rodriguez. So, of course her diva ways are going to resurface.
