It looks like Kate Middleton has a secret online account to ask for anonymous parenting help whenever she needs it. Reports suggest that the Duchess of Cambridge uses the popular motherhood board Mumsnet to ask for help whenever she’s struggling with her two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Apparently, Kate Middleton uses the site whenever she and Prince William disagree on a parenting issue. The two had very different childhoods. William had a rather stiff royal upbringing while Kate’s parents Michael and Carole Middleton were more hands-on and patient with her.
One source close to the situation told Britain’s Reveal Magazine, “She has adopted an anonymous name, and mainly posts questions about issues she and Prince William disagree on, like watching cartoons before bed. Using these websites has really helped Kate, although she’d never admit to using the web for advice – the Royal Family tend to ‘just get on with it’ when it comes to raising children. But, since mums on the internet generally agree with her point of view and not Will’s, she will go right on posting!”
Many royal observers aren’t surprised that Kate Middleton has a secret online account so she can ask for anonymous help when it comes to her home life and personal problems. The Duchess gets scrutinized so much that the last thing she wants to see are headlines calling her a questionable mother and wife.
What’s more, there’s a possibility that Kate might be using Mumsnet to complain about her marriage to Prince William. After all, a good number of women who use the chat site secretly ask for advice about their marital woes or problems with their family members and in-laws. And since she’s using the site as an anonymous user, Kate can easily dish all of her problems with the royal family in total secrecy. It’s without a doubt that Queen Elizabeth won’t be too thrilled when she finds out about it.
Plus, if Kate Middleton complained about her personal woes to her inner circle, someone would end up leaking the details to the press one way or another. The Duchess has no choice but to be careful with each and every word she says in public. So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the report.
