Caitlyn Jenner and her step-children, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian Jr. have been on bad terms since she wrote her scandalous memoire, “The Secrets of My Life”. But, could the former Olympian’s own children turn against her as well? Well, according to an upcoming episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” it certainly seems that way.
In a recent episode of KUWTK, Kris and her daughter Kendall, whom she shares with Caitlyn, discuss the accusations against Kris in Caitlyn’s book which lambastes Kris and paints her as a manipulative liar. Kendall is apparently just as angry as Kris about Caitlyn’s insults aimed at the famous reality matriarch and appears to be firmly on her mother’s side.
Kendall also takes issue with some of the comments Caitlyn has made against her former children while doing promotion for her memoire. When discussing Caitlyn’s insults, the twenty-one year old model says, “She goes around dissing the Kardashians, but it’s like, those are the children you raised. If you have a problem with them, you raised them. It makes no sense to me that she would go around bashing us for no reason. It’s insane, mom.”
The two also worry about how the book will affect future generations of their family. “Everything (in the book) was like I am such a bad person. Your children are going to read this book about their grandparent and have a story that’s fabricated.”
Caitlyn is no stranger to being estranged from her children. She was mostly absent from the lives of her oldest children, Burt and Casey, whom she had with first wife, Chrystie Crownover. And Caitlyn has had a turbulent relationship with her sons Brandon and Brody Jenner, whose mother is former actress, Linda Thompson.
In the past, Brody has accused his father of abandoning him and his brother and only caring about his step-children, the Kardashians. Thankfully for Caitlyn, Brody, as well as her oldest children seem to have forgiven her.
Time will tell if Kendall also forgives Caitlyn, but some are wondering if Caitlyn’s tell-all book was worth having a strained relationship with her children. After all, the book has had disappointing sales and has been criticized with many stating that the book could have served as an inspiration to others going through a similar experience, but instead turned out to be nothing more than tabloid fodder.
